These specs are really good for this price point. But they're pretty weak for heavy duty gaming, so it's great for casual and light games. The webcam isn't flattering, haha.

i switched to this laptop from a xbox one x and have a nice gaming sony tv and the games play incredibly more smooth on laptop. its crazy after playing xbox for years.

This laptop is very powerful and is a great asset for me as an engineering student at Akron. It's powerful enough to run matlab and solidworks, and it is very fast.

I purchased the laptop as a secondary computer. I do not use it that much but when I do I don't have any issues.

This is an amazing gaming computer and when it was on sale, it was a steal of deal! I would recommend this to any gamer out there looking for a gaming machine!

Bought for home use and occasional gaming. GoI’d so far. Added a 2T solid state drive in an open slot to give me more storage. Pretty quiet and easy to set up.

Games are amazing. Only issue noticed is when watching a movie app it will glitch when pausing (or sometimes when playing the movie). All else seems great though.

This computer is awesome ! Very little Bloatware if any, and HP Definitely upholds it's reputation with this laptop to all standards and then some !

Bought this laptop about 4 weeks ago, excited to run CAD software on it. Worked fine for 3 weeks and the RTX 2060 failed in the middle of a design project. ( I am not a heavy user, less than 20h of usage in 3 weeks and never left it overheat). Tried everything to fix it and took it back to Bestbuy. Their diagnostics confirmed the problem and it would be sent for repair. No other options except repair as i was told at Bestbuy and i wish there were other alternatives since this problem is known. It will take 2 to 4 weeks to repair. This is unacceptable at all.... New laptop that fail prematurely and a long waiting for the repair. Not sure if i should trust this GPU in the future. I did some digging and found out that the RTX 2060 has a high rate of failure. I am sure HP and NVIDIA are aware of this problem by now, but there are no strategies, made publicly, to address this problem.

Great gaming laptop. This thing is a beast it has a fantastic screen, great hardware and overall it's a great machine. I totally recommend this.

Currently one of the best laptop designs with RTX graphics. Great thermals. Only downside is the slightly flimsy screen, but not a deal breaker for me.

Bought this for my son for college. Had everything we were looking for with the added bonus of being a gaming laptop. Price was perfect at $300 off.

Pleased to yes and very well. Gets 60 plus frames with medium to high settings, 35 to 40 even at JFK, with good thermals, 60s to 70s, seldom above 80.

Good laptop for the price but the cpu often hits 100% usage when running multiple programs.

Not to flashy, good specs and the casing is not cheap plastic, only drawback is no ten key pad, but those are always hit or miss in 15.6" laptops

I had the computer for less than 3 years and it just randomly died. Tried a hard reset, and it seems there is a hardware issue. No damage at all. Just stopped working in the middle of a Zoom call. Never buying a PC again and sticking with Apple.
