I eventually returned the unit. It worked fine, but the build quality was nowhere near the other premium models in the same price range.

This was a good machine all throughout the original one year warranty. But a few months after, my X key stopped responding. I've read that others have had this issue and it's a hardware problem that HP refuses to honor as a defect covered under warranty. Additionally, my hard drive got corrupted about a year and a half after using, causing me to lose all my data. Data recovery services did not help. Avoid!!!

The laptop is good but I was told that the return dateline would be 30 days and was not informed of the membership. Was and still am disappointed when the motherboard had problems and I had to send it back to the HP headquarters. It was after the 15 day period and I tried to bring it back but they wouldn’t accept it. My laptop is still stuck due to the weather and street conditions and I’ve been laptopless for close to 10 days now.

I got this laptop and was excited to use it but I'm getting some issues the first month of using it. When I restart the laptop or when laptop is on sleep mode, I press any key to wake it up. the laptop turns on but the display doesn't. So I have to hold the power button to turn it back off and on which then the displays start working. I missed the return window by a couple of days and i talked to geeksquad and they said it would cost me to fix it. Why would the charge a customer when its their fault? I will NEVER buy anything from best buy OR HP ever again.

Works great for awhile but then ran in problems. Had it shipped for repair but it took too long so decided to get a pc

Great laptop while it lasted. Dead after two years :(

This laptop pooped out on me after 2 years. The keys started falling off and the hard drive malfunctioned rendering it useless. After consulting with a Geek Squad and a laptop repair company, they quoted me $500 to repair it. I chose to build out my own PC, and was luckily able to sell it for parts for $180.

Five months with less than 100 hours of use and screen issues already occuring. Had Bio errors and screen tearing.have had to hard reset the laptop multiple times. It's good and solid when it works....just so many issues with such little time of use. Would refund if it was possible.

Good laptop not so happy with this laptop. It slags sometimes. But over all it does the job.

Decent ,great for gaming. Nice and sleek look, light weight very fashionable

I bought this computer on the 17th of January. Taught i was spending the extra bucks for reliability and peace of mind. After using it a few times ive seen that the computer randomly restarts. Took it to Geek squad on the 27th, i was told a few setting was reconfigured and it will work fine now. Took it home it had the same issue. Attempted to return it on the 4th feb, i was told its already passes the return date. Its was check once more by geek squad and was charged $40 for a quick fix on a 2wk old computer. Went home same issue went back on the 17th feb another repair was dome another $40 was paid, a few hrs later same problem. Today i was doing a 3 hr zoom session, it restarted 17 time in 2hr and 47 minutes

The product is great, but when I bought it the sales representative told me that my credit line automatically was raised when he scanned and it was over my limit (credit to get 12 months free interest) . He reassured (I asked him a couple times if he was sure) me that my credit limit was increased, but then I was notified that I went over my limit a week later. SUPER not happy about this!! I would have used my bank account had I known what he was telling me was a falsehood. I just paid the difference so it wasn’t over anymore but it had already been documented as over the limit. Just wrong on several levels. Again the product is great, so this review is more about how the sale happened.

Traded for desktop laptop did not have enough space

After owning the laptop for over a year, I've experienced most of the other issues that the other 1-star reviews were experiencing (input issues with keys at times, touch pad unresponsiveness, laptop overheating, etc.). But now I've been experiencing accelerating blue screens of death due to a faulty motherboard after just owning it for a year. This on top of the other hardware issues this computer experiences is not worth the $1k+ price tag with it.

AT FIRST WE LOVED IT THEN IT MADE A LOUD NOISE AND THE FAN STOPED AND APARENTLY IT TAKES A WEEK TO GET A GEEK TO LOOK AT IT AND AT BEST BUY U CANT SEEM TO GET A HUMAN ON A PHONE

After under 2 yrs of ownership, the unit is BSODing after even 2 applications are opened on it. Seems to be mainboard based. Cleaned files, tested disk space and speeds, everything i could when it would allow it to boot for 3 mins. After three mins it would crash again. I spent over 1600 dollars on what will likely be a large paperweight based on other users with similar experiences.

It was an AMAZING computer until one day it decided to just not power on. The only indicator was a blinking power light and no amount of troubleshooting (personal or geek squad) could figure it out.

Is ultra-fast, good for games, very good cooling system, LOVE IT, hate Best Buy they don't want a help me because it broke 20 days after I go it (they only take it 15 days after purchase), HP sent a box to send it for repair, I will have to be a WORK computer for more than a week meanwhile they fixit. very sad Best Buy could not help.
