I bought this laptop when it was marked down for the 20 Days of Doorbusters deals. I wanted to get a decent laptop to get into PC gaming. I have been extremely pleased with this laptop. Being a laptop geared toward gaming, the battery life isn't that great but I don't take it anywhere really so my charger stays put where I game. Another downside of gaming laptops is that they can get hot since everything is all packed up closely. I also purchased a cooling pad but I would do that with any gaming laptop not just this one. I run Overwatch on ultra settings (some less important settings are down on high) and never once have I had an issue. I even run Destiny 2 on higher settings. D2 can make the computer work if you play for a very long time so settings might come down a bit. Overall this laptop is great for a beginner like myself hardware wise. It's visually appealing as well. I enjoy the keyboard backlighting and the speakers are pretty dang decent. Definitely pick one up if you're looking a good starter at a good price.

Probably I would not buy it for the full price tag. At a discount that's a good one. If you need 1050 Ti and 128Gb SSD get another model. This one does not have SSD though spec confusingly lists it in one place and don't list in another one. If you don't need Ti, get this model and add SSD yourself which would be about a $100 for 256Gb nvme. It's easy to add.

Thanks to Greek's squad agent Mary for recommending this model,This pc can pretty much run all high end mmorps' at max level with no lag. I am really enjoying this gaming laptop, had to upgrade from the ceo11dx omen because that model had problems but this one is super and great price a must have. Exactly well, I’ve had it for six years and no problems

Very good for the price, i had it for about a year and a half. sent it in a couple of times due to battery but it has been good.

I really want to love this laptop as it has everything I want. Good performance, backlit keyboard, real mousepad buttons, dedicated/offset arrow keys. But alas so far it's not been good. Picked up my first one in early December and noticed it just turns itself off randomly. Gave it a few weeks and tried numerous things like updating the BIOS to no avail. The screen exhibited terrible bleed at the bottom also. So I took it back and exchanged it for another one. The 2nd one started off better - screen has no bleed at all and it already had the latest BIOS on it. But after 2 days of using this new one, I just experienced another utterly random power down. It usually happens when moving the laptop every so slightly but 1 time was when it literally was sitting there untouched. Going to give this maybe another week and if it continues to just turn off unexpectedly I guess it'll have to go back.

Overwatch game runs without lag and hd is great :3

I purchased this for Christmas bundled with mixed reality headset. Headset is having issues working with computer. Tested headset at bestbuy on other system and worked fine. Then about 1 month later, the hard drive fails. Scheduled a replacement and tech form HP never showed up. Still having issues getting tech to replace. Have been told I can't or it will void warranty. At this point I would not suggest any HP laptop. Quality is down and support is lacking.

This was a great Laptop right up until it shocked me and shut down making me loose all my work. Now my only option is to send it in for repairs and that's if they find the issue and repair it. I have researched this and it is a known issue. I am very disappointed because now I have no computer to finish my work and will be unable to meet my deadlines unless I buy another computer while this one is being repaired.

It lasted almost 2 years and now its dead. The laptop was shutting down for the last half a year if it was untouched or moved a bit and now it shut down finally and nothing will turn it on again. I guess they made it to last u only so much. Dissapointing. They made it look tough on the outside, but the inside is weak.

I bought this laptop for 1000+ dollars and all that happened was it broke the first time in 4 months and now it broke another time in 2 months after I repaired it. Please do not buy this computer it breaks very easily and I am dissatisfied that I have spent so much money on a piece of garbage.
