Laptop has been great so far. The touch pad is a little sensitive some times but other than that, no issues.

First gaming laptop and am overly impressed. Started playing online games and I'm happy

I bought this for my nine year old son who has shown excellent maturity when taking care of his “technologies”. He had it for right at a year when his cousin pulled one of the key board keys off. I used my Geek Squard protection and I sent it off to be be fixed free of charge but upon return there were more issues that arose from them replacing the mother board. That is the only reason for giving four stars. My son loves his laptop.

The Gaming laptop made my grandson very happy. My grand daughter also loves her laptop.

I think that this laptop is great! It honestly isn't to heavy to carry around. My only problem is for good FPS you MUST have the laptop plugged in. It is sleek, and gets compliments due to the logo. I have yet to have a problem when it comes to streaming, gaming (LoL and Rocket League) on high quality. My only concern would be games that eat up the computers RAM such as Skyrim, The Witcher, etc.

Bought for my son for college and for him to play games. He loves it, I'm happy.

With a cost of $950, this is a good PC with reasonable performance for playing game.

Solid state drive makes for fast startup. Light weight comparted to my old laptop.

Computer is a great gaming computer for my needs. Works well for schoolwork too.

Owned this for about two weeks. Sdd makes it a super fast start up. After that everything is pretty much above average but not great. Keyboard esp mouse feels very cheap and makes awful clicking sound every time u press it. Battery life is roughly 4 hrs of continuous surfing on battery saver. Ended up trading it in for msi 7qf which is great and costs less and has newer chip. Good laptop but not worth retail price.

The laptop had all the features I needed and the price was an obvious value.

My first gaming laptop, but was looking for a more "subtle" look instead of the super flashy ones, and it does NOT disappoint!!! I use it for schoolwork/overwatch and it runs everything i need like a champ. Reviews were spot on, the SSD makes starting up really fast. It does get slightly loud, but that is a minimal gripe. It looks fantastic too, love the red led keyboard!

i bought this laptop almost on a whim after looking at the specs. i didn't go too in depth at the time which proved to be the wrong decision. they didn't have this in stock, so it was shipped to me at my home. when it arrived, i was very excited to start using it since my other laptop crashed and burned. sadly, i've been rather underwhelmed with this laptop. since i never picked it up at the store, i didn't realize how heavy it is. i could live with that, but unfortunately, there's more. it feels very cheaply made. some of the keys on the keyboard are incredibly loud, and the touchpad is even worse. i have the settings for the touchpad on the most sensitive possible, and it still only registers the tap (also noisy) approx half the time. so i have to click the touchpad which is not only loud and obnoxious but still isn't registered half the time. the bezel around the keyboard seems like incredibly cheap materials and poorly put together. i can see the light on the side through the keyboard bezel. but when i push on the bezel (to give it a better seal) i can no longer see it. the search bar on the bottom of the screen (windows 10) is awful. when i type something in it, click (or press enter) on it, it brings up the item but, doesn't go away. i have to go back to the search box, delete the typing, click somewhere else to show the "x" on the popup search box, then click it to close it finally. i avoid the search box like it's the black plague. this laptop also runs slow for claiming to be a "gaming" laptop. when i say slow, i mean s...l...o...w!!! it seems like it has to "think" about something before it can actually do it. for example, if i highlight something, it takes a couple of seconds before i can actually do it. another example is this review. i have to go offline, type it up in word, then copy paste here to keep it from looking like gibberish. otherwise, "iwll tio lok tshi" instead of "it will look like this". that is not an exaggeration, that is what came up when i typed it for this reference. my typing skills are about average, so i know there is no way i should be typing "too fast" for this laptop. i cringe when i have to use this and will go out of my way not to. unfortunatley, there are times (like now) when using this laptop is necessary. i wish i could have given this more time and attention when i first got it so i could have taken it back before the 30 day trial was up. there are other a few other issues, but i don't feel like fighting with this overpriced dust collecting paperweight to go into the rest. if you do buy this, i hope it works out better for you than it did me. NO! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!!!

This laptop was bought for a gamer. Didn't know HP had it's gaming line. So far, so good.
