This is a great laptop and now I don't need an Xbox one

It's a great laptop. It was a good deal!! Excellent!

Computer runs great. The SSD is fast. I don't run high graphic games, but the games I do play run amazing. I only wish it came with a larger SSD, but I can't fault the computer on that. Just be sure of where you install your games and apps. Install games on SSD and apps on HDD. Especially with how large games are getting.

Boots fast, the SD drive is great. Haven't been into gaming in a while, but feel like I could with this laptop. Had it a few weeks now and I am enjoying it. Looked around for a while, was not too sure about an HP but so far...not regretting it. Lightweight and thin, and that's great as I travel with 2 laptops.

Don't buy it. Several issues: 1. Screen pops up and lid won't close. See pictures. 2. Keyboard is defective for this model. You type S, the screen will show W. You want to type in @ and it won't allow you to do that. 3. Bad customer service. HP tries everything they can to make the repair process as confuse as possible. 4. HP does the following to me: Only submit service ticket from Web, and the website only available 30% of the time. Will ask you to ship it back, but won't tell you where to ship it to. Keep asking you to close the case at the same time. Updated 11/14/2015. After I FedEx it back for warranty repair. They emailed me and ask for $124.19 The email was so unclear and no specific reason stated beside the $124.19. I called and was held on line for over 50 minutes, transferred multiple departments from India to Texas. And was told " Reason: Customer Damage, not sure why, the repair department closed 20-25 minutes ago". Will call them tomorrow, what a joke.

I purchased this laptop after reading a few reviews. I needed a laptop for video production for a YouTube channel so this laptop fit the bill though I'm not a gamer. At any rate, easy to set up, well made, very stable. Recommended.

In the past I've replaced my in-house refrigerator and placed the old one in the Garage. Since I researched reviews and information, I realized there are refrigerators designed to work with the temperature extremes in a garage environment. This one is perfect.

The laptop has been awesome! His last laptop ran slow and he couldn't play any video games on it. This laptop keeps up with all he needs. The coolest feature according to him? The keyboard lights up red! Very awesome laptop. Pleased with purchase.

Been a great workhorse for the past 24 months. no problems. Upgraded memory to 16GB. Plays everything that Steam and GoG have to offer that is not VR. Great laptop and getting another that is VR ready. OMEN is a great laptop.

Well put together, nice clean design and loaded with all the necessary features I needed. Everything functioned correctly apart from the exceptionally loud and noisy cooling fans which ran constantly. I work in a quiet environment so the noise became irritating to the extreme. I tried a number of fixes to no avail. If your work in a general office type environment with regular office type noise, you probably wouldn't hear the fans running.

I bought this for my wife who plays Sims 4, Sim City, Minecraft, and some others of that ilk. While I am sure it can handle more graphic intense games we haven't put it to the test.
