Flawed, Hardware Problem with Omens HP Knows
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP fails! Made to die just after warranty runs out. This model and probably others have a hardware problem that is well known by HP. The sleep sensor that puts the PC to sleep when the lid is closed is located next to the heat sink on the rear of the motherboard. It gets so hot that the sensor fails over time and the PC's screen and keyboard will go black and flash off and on. Eventually the PC will not even turn on. Remove blue ribbon cable from sensor and problem will be solved. Never, ever again will buy HP.

Pretty Good!

It doesn’t get hot at all. My only gripe is the display, it’s pretty dim. Even in a dark room. The rest of the machine is fabulous.

The first Omen I bought for my son 7 years ago is still kicking! I expect this one to do the same as he begins his college career! Solid feeling case and hinges with the quality I’ve come to expect for HP!

Couldnt have found what i needed without him. I am a gamer and he connected me with the best gaming laptop! I love it! Some minor issues here and there but it was overall worth it

I don't recommend for traveling. But for an at home gaming laptop it works great.

Strong and fast

Just what you need

Rather large, 16.1" is way too big but it does the job. Battery on it isnt the best but you wouldnt be gaming off the charger much anyways
