Love HP but this was dissapointing

I have a tower so I didnt need a beast of a laptop. Upon getting it I realized it could not run Elden ring and even had issues with minecraft. Games i ran fine on my old laptop with a 3050ti. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling windows via a factory USB in case it was an operatong system error. After a clean install it was the same thinf. It should not be out done by the last generation. Maybe i got a lemon? The fit and finish is very nice though
