I've had this computer for almost a year, and based on my ownership I would avoid this laptop. Worked ok for a couple of months, and since it has been intermittently freezing when playing games or browsing the internet. I have worked closely with HP Support with the issue (appears to be common with HP Omen laptops), but no fixes yet. Previously I owned a Asus ROG gaming laptop which was a much more reliable product for the time I had it.

When you get the i9 HP Omen computer.... dont forget to go into the RTX 3060 Software and set the defaults to use the Graphics card for video and photo editing... and if you have video editing software make sure you select the nVIDIA 3060 rather than the INTEL CPU...

If I could give -5 stars I'll do, less than 6 month and the microphone failed and should be replaced by the warranty. This laptop is the worthiest laptop I had in my life, the battery life is 2 to 3 hours so I should carry a huge portable everywhere. I don't advise anyone to have it,

Shortly after initial start up began having BLUE SCREENS. After doing all I knew to do and consulting with techs for advise their best advice was to exchange it for another. I returned it and bought an Acer.

Found this for a great deal in open box-good condition. Bought it and drove an hour to pick it up at the closest store they had it at. The laptop crashed within 20 minutes of use, and kept crashing every time I tried to use it. Took it back to Best Buy for them to fix, only for them to tell me that there was nothing they could do. I understand that in the condition I bought it in, there could be some issues but I expected it to at least be usable. Returned within a day of getting it. Take this review with a grain of salt because I didn't actually get to use the laptop much, but the whole ordeal was very frustrating.

I'm really disappointed with the missed opportunities with this machine. No face recognition, no fingerprint scanner, 300 nits....it's just really unfortunate. This is an ok buy if tou don't care to do anything but normal laptop use. You can find something cheaper with more power probably....

Honestly, it's exactly what I needed for a laptop. It can play anything I would want at an exceptional frame rate. Its capacity is more than I would ever need and surprisingly Windows 11 isn't as bad as it's made out to be.
