I wouldn't say that this computer is great but it's not a bad computer. It plays games well and can run software pretty good too. The downside is that it has really loud fans and it gets hot really fast when playing games and running hardware intensive software. Battery life is poor and basically needs to be plugged in all the time when doing anything.

I am really disappointed in this product. I purchased an OMEN about 6 years ago and loved everything about it. As the battery no longer charges I had to use it plugged in and instead of putting money into an old device decided to replace it. This new model is not on par with the old one. First the keyboard layout is small and cramped with a very large touch pad that serves no purpose. The backlight is a multitude of colors and more distracting than helpful. I had only used it occasionally this first month as I was still transitioning from the old computer to the new. I noticed really poor battery life, but was very aware after I had it fully charged and off for 2 days. When I powered it up it had discharged 1/3 of the battery. I contacted Best Buy and was told it was 6 days out of a 30 day warranty. I am now having to deal with HP for a laptop that is barely one month old. I purchased the product on line as there is no store on the Island on which I live. I now have to keep the new one plugged in as it drains down to 60% after just 2 hours of using a word program. I can't imagine using this for something that would take serious bandwidth like a Zoom call for work.

Has a really good refresh rate and can handle multiple applications at the same time without effort

Fantastic device. Worth every penny. With the I9 processor and tons of space for games files and more, this is a gamers and workman’s dream.

I used to have a big fat laptop that I'd lug around campus, and it could barley run anything that was any sort of demanding, and on top of that, it was extremely loud and annoying a lot of the time. This laptop however, can run basically everything that I've tested so far beautifully. When using it for school work, it stays completely silent, and it's a world a difference. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent computer Love everything , fast reliable

This laptop is great for the price you get to pay. To help make this review easy to read, I'll break it down into the major pros and cons. Pros: 1.) RAM - The 16 GB allows you to run multiple demanding programs at once 2.) CPU speed - The base CPU speed is 2.5 GHz on my model (not 5.0 GHz as advertised). However, 2.5GHz is enough processing speed to run demanding programs and applications at a decent rate 3.) Design/Functionality = The laptop has a multicolor backlight for the keyboard and a cool sleek design. It has two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a SD card reader port. This allows you to use multiple monitor displays without having to purchase a port hub Cons: 1.) Battery Life = The battery will only last you anywhere from 3-4 hours 2.) CPU speed - This shows up as a con too because Best Buy's website advertises an average CPU speed of 5.0 GHz for this laptop. Seeing as the model I have is literally half of that, the 5.0 GHz seems to be fluff for a base model. The CPU hardware itself may be expandable to 5.0 GHz through upgrades, but the base CPU hardware is nowhere near 5.0 GHz Overall, this laptop is great for the price you pay compared to other laptops with the same specifications that cost much more. If you're a professional that uses demanding applications and programs, this laptop will get the job done at a consistent pace without lagging too much. I personally use multiple programs that require at least 16 GB of Ram to operate properly and I haven't experienced any major issues with completing tasks in any of the programs. While minor lagging issues can arise from time to time, that's just a part of life since the world is using computers and technology more and more each day.

Battery life hella dead. But the computer can pay anything over tried at the highest setting no problems.

Nice build quality and even lighter by a small margin than my victus, also solves the bad hinge problem on the victus as this omen has super solid hinges. Pretty great buy on sale but at standard price there are better options with the same price, but if you want to buy a laptop now and this laptop is only one for sale then go ahead since specs would still last you for 5 years or more

Has a really good performance. Only problem is that battery drains faster.

This pc is very good quality, its fast and graphics look great.The only thing is this puppy gets hot,i run vr and play intinse games and it really ramps it up, if you plan on buying, get a premium cooling pad and lower the performance in your control panal, it will really drop your temps.also consider getting a different graphis card cus it is a little low for an i9-12900H( consider an egpu with a 3070 this modle has thunder bolt 4)
