Love my new laptop it is amazing. It is fast and I love the graphics.

Needed to add some higher Ram but otherwise a good computer. Battery doesn't last that long though.

This laptop is really snappy and have been super happy with it so far. The screen is beautiful, the keyboard highly responsive and lightning fast. I bought it to help with livestream broadcast of sporting events and could not pass on this with the level of specs and hardware at a price of $950! Wow great job by Best Buy and HP on a beautiful product and price point.

Runs all my games perfectly. I love this laptop!!!

This laptop performs exceptionally; it runs games smoothly and functions very well as a normal laptop for everyday use. There is one downside: the battery does run low pretty quickly when unplugged; usually within two hours, you'll need to plug it back in. Otherwise, however, the experience has been very positive. If you're not worried about carrying the charger with you, or if you will be using the laptop mostly at home, then the battery won't be much of a problem.

I like It! Can play most if not all games has to be plugged in though!

I do not usually write a lot of reviews but this laptop has definitely been worth the purchase! It is able to run every game I try on it at max settings (AAA releases as well!) I will def be getting future laptops and upgrades from Best Buy and am loving HP as a brand!

Fast and versatile. Gets hot and battery goes down quickly but that's too be expected

My old aluminum ASUS gaming system from 2015 finally had to be put out to pasture and I thought I would have another 7 years of good luck with another ASUS - this time a GU603ZM-M16 M16 I7 3060. The first one felt like barely an upgrade and lasted a month before the motherboard failed, upon exchange the new system had nothing but startup errors and memory issues after setting up Windows. ASUS support was absolutely garbage. I took it back right away and picked up this HP: HP OMEN 16.1" QHD Gaming Laptop with the 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H w/ 16GB Memory the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU a 1TB SSD in Shadow Black. I cannot express how incredible this system has been for the first couple weeks - I don't game at all but I use this for work mostly processing large spreadsheets and aggregating a ton of web-based data. The system just hums without ever breaking a sweat, it can run multiple Adobe apps simultaneously and barely hits 60% CPU usage when I'm running it at my "max", The available ports/port positions, the overall design and feel are all premium. I really love this computer and have no complaints. I do have some issues with HP though. A couple HP CONS I should mention: - The "12 month warranty" immediately showed up as 10 months and a few days in the HP Support Assistant app even though this was not a demo computer, I submit a ticket and have not had a follow-up - The HP site does not provide clear direction on RAM or HD upgrades/installation (this laptop is not even listed as an available selection in the Omen section) as I was hoping to add another HD and more DDR5.

This laptop has proven to be generally reliable and stylish for a gaming laptop. As a few other reviews have mentioned, the fans do run rather loud, but again, this isn't a surprise. I managed to get this laptop for a great deal and I would completely recommend it. If it was full price, I would hesitate and compare options. It's only been a single month, so this is all subject to change.

Fast computer at a fair price. My only complaint is about the battery life.

This is a great deal on a laptop that runs cooler than many others in this spec range. An i9 and a 3060 is a great pairing along with good thermals. Great screen quality and the refresh rate is in line with other gaming laptops. RAM can be upgraded and has an extra SSD NVMe slot so you can add a second drive. I upgraded to 32GB and this thing is a powerhouse. Great Deal!

Few other deals in the market can compare to the value proposition presented by this device. Despite being labeled as a "gaming" laptop, its sleek and lightweight design ensures it doesn't appear out of place in professional environments. The laptop can easily fit into a standard-sized backpack, making it convenient for travel. Moreover, it handles a wide range of games efficiently. For example, it runs indie games smoothly and can handle most triple-A titles with minor adjustments to settings. As a specific benchmark, CS2 operates at around 100 fps on maximum settings with the default resolution. However, potential buyers should be cognizant of the battery life. When idle, the battery lasts approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, but this duration diminishes significantly under load. Although the charger is somewhat bulky, the battery typically lasts through most classes and professional commitments without needing a recharge.

Former Mac user, I've had my Omen for about a month now- easy setup, great game performance. I read reviews about the speaker quality being disappointing and will agree with that. I listen to a lot of music and will be looking into speakers to use with my laptop. Does require a lot of charging.

This laptop was purchased from Best Buy after a previous laptop purchased around 2 years ago (an asus) had motherboard failure. If you do buy from Best Buy I would recommend not getting total tech. Through a series of paperwork errors I was contacted to pick up a service on this laptop when it was not even started to be worked on. I was then told it was being worked and would be ready later. When I never got the call I just gave up and picked up the un serviced laptop. The super complex service ? Ram installation. If you find this laptop at a good price go ahead and pick it up, but skip the total tech protection! For what it is worth, compared to the older asus it replaced, the Hp omen’s fan runs pretty frequently and loudly. Will experiment with a possible cooling pad. If you do not use headphones or are easily distracted by fan noises this might be an issue.

I have been using it for a month, it is an excellent device for the price. Model desc: i9 12th gen and a 3060 16gig ram. It handles CAD software as well as gaming quite easily. The battery lasts for about 5 hours when on eco mode. In balanced mode, the 165 Hz screen may use more battery.

So far this Kaoroo has exceeded my expectations for my needs. It was recommended to me to get a gaming one for the speed and memory for my business needs.. And again WOW
