Omen 27qs G2 is nothing but a disappointment. I was really excited to add this monitor to my gaming setup when they first announced it. Being an IPS Black panel, it does display richer blacks than standard IPS panel since IPS Black has almost double the contrast of a standard IPS. It is still an edge lit monitor so the corners will have the typical IPS glow in darker scenes. It has horrible color and brightness uniformity going from the middle of the monitor to the edges. IPS should have one of the best viewing angles but unfortunately this monitor doesn't deliver on that. It's very distracting and deal breaking when colors and brightness are not uniform on the display. I was going to give 1 star for this monitor but I gave an additional star because of its good HDR performance. It's nothing fancy and definitely doesn't match the HDR performance of an OLED panel but HDR does actually work on this monitor to an extent better than any standard IPS panels. However, this monitor is overpriced. You can add $100-$200 on top of its price and get yourself an OLED panel that will blow this monitor out of the water in terms of performance and image quality. Being an owner of Omen 27i, I always speak highly of Omen monitors because they have great image quality but Omen 27qs G2 is nothing but an overpriced disappointment. At $499 asking price, I expected a better product as many decent OLED panels can sell at $599. I was looking to purchase this monitor as a good compromise between IPS and OLED but if it can't display uniform colors across the screen, that's not a compromise that's a deal breaker. What on earth was HP thinking when they released this monitor with horrible performance and pricing? I returned this monitor back to where it belongs..... On the shelf.

Love it. Very clear. So far it doesn’t hurt my eyes staring at the screen. If my work space was big enough I’d get another.

Previously coming from 1080p monitors this one has been awesome. I primarily play COD but the with my setup this monitor has been preforming great.

My son seems to really be enjoying this gaming monitor. He is happy to have a monitor that does not lag. He tells me how much it works better than his old one. He hasn’t complained one time so I would highly recommend this item. He is a true gamer!

I think for a travel monitor and for gaming this is an ideal size it’s small compact and honestly light weight.

Much better then my 24” 240hz 1080 monitor. Colors are great and faster. Love the built in crosshair option as well

For the price, there are better choices I think. This monitor is heavy, bulky... feels like an older monitor style but with a better resolution. It should be so much lighter... The sleep feature turns off the monitor, and it doesn't automatically wake up. You have to manually reach around the back and hit the power button. The controls? Well, they could be better. It's also too hard to figure out why some monitor controls work sometimes, and not others. Just not a very intuitive or easy system to figure out. It looks great at maximum resolution. If you want to convert to 1920x1080, it struggles to show text clearly, creates a strain on the eyes. This thing is bright! I like it, but it's also a challenge because the controls always gray out and say controlled by content, or aren't available in this mode, etc.

Bought used for a deal and it mind as well be brand new. Works great. Looks great. Thank you Mr Best Buy

Monitor was fairly simple to set up. Each piece was wrapped individually and labeled in a way that made it pretty easy to set up for someone who isn’t good with tech. The graphics are incredible and smooth. Speakers are a bit fuzzy but honestly decent for built in ones.

Got this for both of my children’s pcs and it works great. Would definitely buy again
