I’ve purchased four HP Omen monitors—not because of any issues, but because I genuinely like them that much. I run two dual-monitor setups and have had zero connectivity problems, whether for office work, creative tasks, or gaming. These monitors are impressively versatile. My first setup paired them with a Samsung laptop, and later I transitioned to using them with my Alienware Aurora R16 PC. I own two of the older models with the triangular base, and recently added two of the newer versions, which are a major upgrade. The updated design feels more modern and functional, with cleaner aesthetics and improved build quality. One standout feature is the built-in speakers—a rarity among gaming monitors. While they won’t replace dedicated audio equipment, they’re surprisingly decent for casual use and help justify the slightly higher price tag. That said, these monitors frequently go on sale, so I highly recommend keeping an eye out for discounts. Performance-wise, the refresh rate and response time hold up well, even under demanding AAA titles on both my PS5 and Xbox. I’ve experienced minimal input lag and no noticeable screen tearing. The visuals are crisp, motion is smooth, and overall gaming performance has been consistently strong. At this point, HP Omen is my go-to brand for both productivity and gaming. I wouldn’t choose anything else.

This monitor has been fantastic so far. The high refresh rate really shines, everything feels incredibly smooth with fast, clean transitions and no noticeable ghosting. Motion clarity is excellent, especially in fast-paced games. The QHD resolution looks sharp and crisp, and paired with my Alienware R16 running an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, performance has been outstanding. Games look detailed without sacrificing frame rate, and the overall experience feels very responsive. Colors are vibrant, the IPS panel looks great from different angles, and the adjustable stand makes it easy to dial in a comfortable setup, doesnt matter how much you move it it just stays, solid. The RGB is not overly on your face yet it looks great and it gives off a nice background glow. If you’re looking for a fast, smooth gaming monitor with excellent image quality, this one absolutely delivers.

Solid monitor, colors and refresh are good, speakers are lacking, but they are monitor speakers, wasn’t expecting much to begin with. Base stand is slightly tilted and the clip that hold the cables in the back broke almost immediately. But for the sale price it was a good grab.

Recently went into my local Best Buy looking for a second gaming monitor. The store had many open box/returned units in the computer section and this monitor was among them. The customer service person was very helpful as he tested the monitor on a pc to make sure it was fully functional and had no dead pixels. I can say that the monitor has great color and responce time. There are some online videos with setup suggestions to help with this. The minitor is worth the money over other units trying to undercut it by a few dollars. If it goes on sale or a floor unit is for sale I would not hesitate.

Quality is good for the price. I dont game so I dont care for OLED or any of the fancy stuff. It does the job just fine and the audio is great too. My only complaint is that I wish I didnt have to get an VESA adapter for a monitor arm.
