I got this laptop on sale for $430. I feel like even for the sale price, this laptop is still not worth it. I mean, let's be honest. They are selling a laptop with 8GB of Ram in 2025 for about $700. THAT is unbelievable period.
If you are considering buying this, I would honestly have to say NO. Here's why:
- Not enough Ram. You cannot open more than 20 chrome tabs without your laptop slowing down phenomenally. I mean, I have 9 chrome tabs open as of writing this review, and my memory is at 84%.
- Processor is weak. But sure, if you are not planning on playing games or rendering stuff, you won't notice a difference. BUT, if you want to relax and play some games on the side, then you'll feel the side effects.
- Does not come with a pen for touchscreen. This product literally advertises itself as bending into a tablet and even features a pen on one of it's photos yet it does not include a pen in it's accessories LOL.
- 60Hz. 60Hz feels ugly, it feels SLOW. Especially in 2025, we need to start normalizing going 75Hz or higher.
- THE COPILOT BUTTON!! It is so annoying when I try to press the period button, but accidentally press the 'Copilot' icon button underneath the period which slows down my entire laptop to load the Copilot app. I do not understand why that is even a button. I HATE it.
Besides that, the Pro's: Touchscreen, versatile screen modes, keyboard light, aaaaaand thats about it.
"Is it worth $700?" -- No.
"Is it worth $430?" -- No.
I don't know where to look for better laptops, I just got this for school and it's not terrible. But, I am more than certain you can find better deals/specs somewhere else.

Lightweight and easy to use. Love the touch screen feature. I am still trying to learn Windows 11 though. Overall a good basic computer. Reasonably priced too.

It supports your everyday use and is exceptionally mid for its purpose. Besides its norm of portability, its efficiency outperforms in battery life, which is reliable.

I was fortunate to purchase this at nearly half price, and for the money this is a fantastic computer! The screen looks great, the keyboard and trac-pad are satisfying and responsive, and as a whole the computer is fast and efficient. The only con is windows issues with tablet mode, I have had some issues with software and formatting, but were fixed with a restart. For this price however, I would expect better performance there. If you need this to be a tablet I would not recommend, but as a computer alone it's worth the price when on sale!

I love it. I had a Lenova Ideapad which I was okay with, but when I saw the HP-OmniBook was on sale at Best Buy for a great price, I thought it was worth a shot. I haven't been happier with any other purchase for a long time. It was light years superior to the Lenova. I highly recommend it.
