This is the best deal I have gotten from Best Buy. The associate in the laptop section was very helpful in helping me find the right device for my budget.

This computer is slow. Having only 8 gigs of rams you can feel the less than average performances. Had to remove a lot of bloat ware which help make it a bit faster. Also hate that it doesn’t come with ms office or atleast word. Currently using this for my small children to learn.

I like my new HP OmniBook that I picked up last weekend, the service department transferred my data from my old one to my new one and all I had to do was turn it on and go! Thanks Best Buy!

i am disappointed in this pc. I asked for an inexpensive pc that wasn't Win+S. I specifically said I wanted to be able to run ChatGPT, Libre Office, Firefox -- and I didn't want Microsoft to be taking over my whole system. I would love this pc if that was what I got. But instead here's the thing: on this Win 11 Home pc, there is no way to disable MS CoPilot. I am a systeme engineer (NT 4). I have worked with HP and Microsoft both to try to fix this problem using tools like REGEDIT and POWERSHELL. The bottom line is that no matter what you, CoPilot cannot be removed from @in 11 Home. You are left with two choices: either use the pc and deal with CoPilot constantly popping up when you don't want it to or to take it to the Geek Squad and upgrade to Win 11 Pro. Even then, MS CoPilot will not guarantee that you will be able to disable it. I do not want or need more than one AI program and I happen to like CHATGPT. So bottomline: yes, it is a nice pc. I even bought a pencil to draw and write with it. If you don't care which o/s you use and have not had the kinds of problems with Win 11 that I have, then you might love this pc. But -- and once again, I am a Microsoft certified systems engineer (albeit legacy), if Microsoft has become such a predatory o/s (which it has) and your only real alternatives are Apple or Linux, then there's something wrong.

So far, so good. Had a Lenovo laptop that died and could not be fixed. Best Buy staff was very helpful in pointing out potions in features of new laptops and helped us find the one that would work best for our needs. Geek Squad was able to recover and transfer all our files off the old computer to the new computer!
