This laptop has a really powerful processor and iGPU, it runs a little better than a 1650 max Q, and a lot better with the fluid motion 2 enabled in the amd software. Build quality feels really good in some places, but some places feels weird, like the bottom vent. The unit i recieved has a really weird feeling keyboard especially on the space bar, and has some visual bugs like flashes and weird glitches (in images). Maybe its an amd thing im not sure. The battery life and weight is so great, its really good for school and stuff, even can play games for some time on battery. It also has an amazing display. Overall kinda disappointed by the glitches and build quality, will be returning but this is really a perfect laptop that can compete with macbooks.

I purchased this laptop for my son who’s a Senior this year in Highschool. He will be going to college next year so he will also be able to use his laptop there as well.
It was a little pricey but it was worth it bc I wanted him to have the best laptop. Right now this Laptop is the #1 for college students.
It’s fast speed, lots of storage and up to date features too.

Bought to replace an older 13" HP Spectre 2 in 1, the processor is fast to do tasks and processes. However, this laptop is significantly larger and the extra 0.5 lb is heavier than I would prefer. Excellent battery life, but poor audio quality. Also, compared to the Spectre that the OmniBook line is replacing, this laptop is not aesthetically pleasing at all.

I have had this laptop for about a 2 weeks now and here are its pros and cons.
Pros:
-the keyboard is very nice (clicky and tactile)
-2.2k screen has been very sharp and bright enough even for outdoors
-very strong performance for web browsing, coding, light gaming
-stays relatively quiet under normal use (only ramps up if doing benchmarking or gaming)
-excellent battery life (easily lasts me two days of normal use)
-great speakers (could have some more base)
-good webcam
-windows hello and touch id
Cons:
-60hz display (for the type of machine, its not bad but every laptop should have at least a 90hz display)
-only 3 usb c ports and a headphone jack
-hp bloatware(you can delete most of the preinstalled apps tho)

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook Ultra mainly for office work and coursework, and in terms of performance it’s been great. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 and 32GB RAM make everything feel very fast and efficient, and the 2TB SSD is plenty of space. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, the speakers are good, and the overall build feels solid and premium.
On the downside, the display feels like a downgrade coming from an ASUS OLED laptop—it’s okay, but doesn’t have the same deep blacks or vibrant colors. The hinge also isn’t very sturdy and the screen tends to wobble when I’m typing quickly. Battery life is decent and lasts me about a workday of office and coursework use, but at this price point there are laptops that do noticeably better.
One more thing to note: it only has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. That setup can be a bit of a hassle if you’re using multiple peripherals (mouse, external drive, monitor, etc.), and you’ll pretty much need a hub or docking station to make it convenient.
Overall, it’s a very powerful and capable machine for productivity, but the screen, hinge, limited ports, and just-average battery life keep it from being perfect.

This is one powerhouse of a laptop. With 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD storage, and the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 processor, you can easily handle almost any task you could think of with daily use. Very snappy, fast chip that handles daily tasks with ease. Feels like it will age well going forward.
The built-in AI features are actually very helpful and convenient. These features will also be continually built upon and improved to become more useful in the future. Coming from using solely Apple products for most of my life, it is refreshing to see other companies out there can also get the job done.
The build quality is excellent. The laptop feels very sturdy but is not overly heavy. It looks beautiful and has a very svelte vibe to it.
The battery life is great--I can get multiday use out of it through the week. No complaints here.
One of my favorite features is the feel of the keyboard...it is excellent! Such a joy to type on.
Honestly for not being an OLED display and "only" being 2.2K resolution, the picture is quite good. More than enough for me and my use-case of casual web browsing, using Microsoft Office, email, etc.
Overall, I am very impressed and happy with my purchase of this laptop. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying this computer.

The HP OmniBook Ultra has been an absolute joy to use. I picked up the 14" 2.2K Touch-Screen model with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 375, 32GB of memory, and a huge 2TB SSD, and it quickly became my daily driver for both work and play. The Meteor Silver finish looks sleek and modern, and the laptop itself feels light but extremely sturdy in hand—it’s definitely portable enough to carry around all day without a second thought.
Performance is fantastic. Whether I’m hammering away at code, running virtual machines, or crunching through photo edits, the Ryzen AI 9 chip and 32GB of RAM handle everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat. File transfers and application launches are almost instant thanks to the fast SSD, and surprisingly, even gaming works well on this system. The Radeon graphics aren’t on the level of a dedicated gaming laptop, but for casual titles and some older AAA games, it’s very capable.
Battery life also stands out—I’m regularly getting around 12–13 hours with mixed use, and it’s easy to go a full day without reaching for the charger. The laptop wakes instantly from sleep, which is great when jumping between meetings or travel. The screen is sharp, bright, and a pleasure to use for coding, writing, and media.
The keyboard and touchpad are comfortable, making long sessions easy. I love having the extra ports (Thunderbolt 4, USB-C), and the Wi-Fi 7 is noticeably fast. The only minor annoyances so far are the glossy screen, which can reflect in really bright environments, and some pre-installed HP software that I disabled pretty quickly.
Overall, the OmniBook Ultra is a fantastic all-rounder. It’s powerful, portable, lasts all day, and looks great—perfect for anyone who needs serious performance in a thin and light laptop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

I almost had to return this laptop because of the AMD software, which required a roll back to the previus version to fix, now everything is working perfectly and getting better battery life. The display would become unresponsive randomly, just the display and closing the lid or the sleep button restores it. Also AMD Adrenaline Application had no overlay option. It was a great deal at $1099, but this would be unacceptable at the MSRP.

I picked this up at deal price and it is worth the money. Well built. Excellent performance.
The touchpad wasn't working well out of the box, but the issue got resolved after I installed all updates using HP assistance app.
Bit annoying that there is no usb-c port on the left side.

This was a really good deal, and the battery lasts long, which is what I really wanted. For some reason, it gets dirty or stained quickly, and I clean it frequently. But I'm loving it. I had to buy a dongle to have more ports because the laptop doesn't have an HDMI port.

Very happy with this HP OmniBook Ultra. The laptop is fast and able to run multiple programs and open windows simultaneously. Touchscreen works well as does the lighted keyboard. Speakers are adequate and have ample volume for any basic use. At this point, I have no complaints and would not hesitate to purchase this computer.
