I'm a big techy/nerdy guy and I barely provide reviews online, but this one really deserves a detailed one! I absolutely love AMD processors and specially their newer generation with dedicated NPU (so I run LLMs locally) and better discrete GPUs. Hence, this laptop was a perfect choice and beast of a configuration for Windows. Although, I don't know what's wrong with BestBuy! The first machine I got had weird BIOS issues and screen freeze and more. They replaced it with another one which has speaker issues ( a static distorted noise even on mute ). I also have several HP cases opened to mitigate the issue. HP officially doesn't make this configuration and BestBuy (being HP's official partner) customizes these model. I am not sure what they [BestBuy] did here, but surely it messed up this machine. Maybe few folks got perfectly working one and remaining people like me ( as I see other reviews ), kept on getting this damaged machine. To make things worse on BestBuy's end, they kept selling me their unnecessary GeekSquad membership plans to mitigate this issue as a better option over constant replacement. Also, I went to 3-4 different BestBuys, and all of them have their own rule of replacement/exchange! This was my first ever BestBuy purchase and it's been a disappointing experience so far! At one point, I only cared about getting a good working machine but sadly with this obnoxious process, I had no hopes! Hence, I just returned the laptop eventually ( and now, I don't have anything lol). In conclusion, once again, this is a beast of a configuration for a Windows laptop but on paper! At the end, if things don't work that well when you pay more than a grand, you really start questioning....

I have bought this laptop a week ago as a backup device for software development. It is blazing fast! Compilation time for biggest my projects is almost as fast as on my primary Mac Studio M2 Max! Screen is okay. I would love to have 120Hz, but 60Hz will do its job. Touchpad is not bad, would like to have a haptic one. Battery life is excellent comparing to my old Surface Pro 9.

It does everything well, the fan is quiet, and has amazing storage. Overall just a good laptop.

I purchased the 2TB SSD model about 10 days ago and wanted to report that installation of the operating system and initial loading of data and software went smoothly. The hardware is working well, the display is plenty good despite not being OLED, and the computer seems very responsive and quick. I am very pleased thus far. Still waiting for the Microsoft Copilot + features, but I used R Drive Image to create a pristine system image in case the Microsoft AI updates go sideways on us. And I did buy an Anker 8-in-1 USB-C hub to give me extra ports for my scanners and printer. I am not a gamer so I can't report on its gaming performance. But for everything else, I think this is a winner.

I replaced a Surface Book with this and I have been blown away. Laptop's speed is absolutely incredible and I love the keyboard.

I was feeling a bit cautious about buying a laptop with AMD chips, and this machine made any concerns go away. Incredibly fast, solid graphics and CoPilot + is, well, a great plus ☺️ (pun intended). Keyboard is quite, feels solidly built, and plenty of storage to last for years. I’m really happy with this purchase, which replaced a 4-yr old laptop…

i could go on and on about how good this laptop is but instead I'm going to list my only complaint, needs 2 usb-a ports. had to buy a hub to use multiple mix of usb a and c plugs. that's it, boots up fast, setup was easy. used hdmi port for larger external screen and external keyboard into the added hub. worth the price

Best laptop I ever had. I use it to work wiht photoshop and other edition programs and works very well and really fast. 100% recommended.

I have had no issues with this laptop. Great speed and connects to the things I need easily. Worth the money.

Great laptop I have 10 of them. Make sure you use compatible or approved HP G5 dock with it.

Very happy with this laptop. I wanted something that could handle hi-def video editing and it is perfectly capable. As far as AI goes, I had to manually download and install the AMD NPU driver (RAI_1.3.1_242_WHQL). Without that driver, the NPU was not being utilized at all. I bought a Thunderbolt dock and I have plugged in an external monitor, two external SSD drives, an ethernet cable, and my wireless earbuds for charging. Everything works fine and I still have a couple of ports to spare - including an empty USB-A port on the laptop itself. I recommend this laptop.

Good laptop. Snappy. Specs. Storage is KXG80ZNV2T04 Kioxia TLC Sequential Read 7,000 MBps ; Sequential Write 5,800 MBps. Cons: only 3 usb & no download links for drivers, apps and manual.

Amazing APU woth AMD HX 375. Just need to install AMD Adrenalin Software to enable Super resolution and Flued motion and this is a perfect 65 watt portable gaming machine.

This is a sharp little laptop which has helped me out tremdously as a writer.
