This is a beautiful product by hp. Nice sleek design, solid aluminium build. Nice haptic trackpad feels very premium. Gorgeous OLED dispay is by Samsung, HDR video experience is awesome. Only negative side I would say it doesn’t have ambient light sensor so change brightness automatically when lighting change option is not available.

I didn’t expect to be this impressed, but this laptop really delivers. Everything about it feels fast, smooth, and premium. The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor handles multitasking effortlessly, and even with heavy use it stays cool and quiet. It just works without any hiccups. The sound quality stands out immediately. The speakers are clear, balanced, and loud enough to enjoy music, movies, and calls without needing extra speakers or headphones. It genuinely adds to the experience. Copilot has turned out to be more useful than I thought. I regularly use it to extract information, summarize content, and get quick assistance, and it actually saves time. The dedicated Copilot key makes it easy to use without breaking focus. The OLED touchscreen looks stunning, the flip design is practical, and the overall build feels solid and thoughtfully designed. This laptop feels modern, powerful, and worth the investment. I’d confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality Windows laptop.

First laptop purchase in about 5 years. Looked at all the reviews carefully and was torn between Lunar Lake and the Qualcomm ARM chips. Decided to go with Lunar Lake for better compatibility. I've been using this laptop now for about a week and took with me on a business trip. In continuous mixed use, like presentations, videos and surfing the net, I'm consistently getting about 11-12 hours of battery life which is great! The laptop seems very responsive with no glitches. The screen is beautiful and the keyboard great. Build quality is excellent. Would highly recommend this laptop!

This seems to be a pretty good laptop, and it has gotten good reviews online, but a couple of things kept it from being one I wanted to hold onto. First the good: 1) Build quality is quite nice. I don't really care about the 2-in-1 factor but the hinges felt strong and it's reasonably thin and light. 2) Screen is beautiful, a very nice OLED panel. 3) Keyboard and trackpad are a delight - very nice key travel combined with a haptic trackpad is always good to see. Here were my quibbles: 1) The speakers can sound good, but only at a table because they are down-firing. If on your lap, the sound is actually terrible and muddy. 2) I kept running into a bug where the entire screen would freeze up, it wasn't clear why this was happening, though I wonder if the Intel graphics drivers were to blame, something to consider with the new chips they've launched. In short, this seems like a good laptop, but make sure you give it a test out before committing to it.

Nice Laptop but Lacking One of my Requirements

Most laptops in this category have a 4 cell battery. This one has a 6 cell battery. The laptop has all the bells and whistles, camera shutter, face recognition login, fingerprint log in, 2-in-1... The laptop was missing one option I must have. I want manufacturer bloatware to include a battery saver. When the AC adapter is connected, the battery can't charge beyond 80%. Since I keep my laptop stationary 90% of the time, it's my must have. Though this model has a better battery than most, it didn't have this option. I returned it for one that does have battery health software. One other thing. The first day it was unstable but after the HP updates and windows updates it became stable.

    Premium laptop but ...

Its premium with all the features. Got it open box excellent for a good price. Fingerprint, touch and 3K oled with high refresh. Unfortunately the port selection is weak. Only 3 USB C.. it ll be great for a traveller, or those who only use the laptop. For me I might hook it to a monitor need a USB C to HDMI adapter, want to connect my favorite mechanical keyboard, need to C to A adapter for that. The back side 2 angled ports are less usable due to wierd angles. While on your lap or table there will be a lot of stress on the cable ends. If you are ok to carry a lot of adaptors along with laptop it s a good one.

    Lighted Keyboard Wins! Sticker FAILS!

After a few weeks of use, I’m pleased with the HP OmniBook Ultra Flip. This model replaces my previous HP touchscreen flip laptop, and overall it’s been a smooth transition. One adjustment has been the keyboard layout. The keys are slightly larger, and the Home and End functions have shifted from the far-right column to the lower-right area within the arrow keys. Additionally, the power button now sits at the top right, which moves the Delete key over by one spot. These changes have led to a few “oops” moments while typing. On the positive side, the backlit keyboard has been a great feature, especially for working in low-light environments. One HUGE cosmetic issue for me is...the intelcore ultra sticker is crooked......I see this everytime I open my laptop. HP, you can do better. BRAND FAIL

Awesome screen but not the brightest. amazing keyboard, excellent trackpad! light and joyful laptop. speakers are also loud and clear. As that said the battery life is bad, this is a lunar lake based laptop with pretty bad battery life which is a shame. the battery on this laptop is too small compared to the competition. if they would put a 72wh this would be a perfect laptop

    Customer Service

This review is about HP and their customer service. I have reached out to them about 10 times and have case numbers. They have taken remote control many times trying to fix app issues and performance issues. I have reinstalled windows about 7 times. Maybe more. They did have me return it and they installed a motherboard and battery. Got it back and still problems. Again reinstalled windows 11 25h2 per Micosoft. Still app issues. They have had it now for about 2 months off and on and now say 1 more month due to parts. It has been a frustration just communicating and getting help. In the meantime I have my money tied up in a laptop that functions very poorly intermittently. Am I wrong to get sick of all the delays and problems getting it fixed? I am a total tech person and do have the extended warranty through BB. But they recommended I return it to HP for repairs. In my mind, customer service should be the most important factor in a purchase and I can't seem to find it here. This is a premium model and I am disappointed in how this has played out. I am mentioning it here as to be aware that customer service should be number one. But wow this is frustrating to deal with.

I love this laptop! Was actually going to buy a replacement surface pro because mine was 10 years old and wouldn’t take windows 11. When I priced it out the equivalent to this laptop was close to $2000. I couldn’t justify an extra $900 for a detachable keyboard. I never used it without it much and this this can be used as a tablet only anyway!

I wouldn't pay top-dollar for this laptop; I was able to find it open box while also on sale so I got a great deal. The screen is gorgeous. It's light but feels well made and sturdy. It's snappy but does get bogged down easily; looking at Facebook on Chrome while downloading a game on Steam had it lagging badly. It has some weird bugs that I saw another reviewer mention. The mouse pointer randomly resizes itself and has to be adjusted. Also the fingerprint reader has gone out and I had to disable and reenable it to get it working. I'm hoping this all gets polished in updates. Overall this is a great laptop that looks beautiful, it's not perfect and I would've already returned it if I'd paid full price, but for entertainment, web surfing and LIGHT gaming it's perfect.

If you're looking for a lightweight machine with minimal compromises, this is a great option. Pros: Amazing trackpad with accurate volume/brightness gestures (if you enable the feature), great oled display although not the brightest, good speakers if you set the EQ to "movie mode," great build quality and style with aluminum all around, has charging ports on both sides of the machine, touch screen is very responsive and accurate, doesn't get very hot and doesn't have much fan noise. Debatable: I like the keyboard. I feel it is very premium but not all people like low travel keyboards, however this does not bother me at all. Cons: It doesn't have any usb-a ports, the wifi card isn't upgradable although it is an excellent one (intel wifi 7), the webcam isn't the best, and if you use it on your bed while laying sideways the screen will flip and keyboard/trackpad will be disabled (although there is a fix if you disable "intel integrated sensor" in device manager).
