During the short time that I have owned this laptop, I have found it to be stellar. It has a modernistic appearance, an amazing OLED screen (coupled with superb screen colors) and fantastic performance. The 2.8K OLED touch screen is a standout feature which is thoroughly being enjoyed! The OLED screen is gorgeous with its eye-popping colors. The screen is easy on the eyes and I can browse for many hours without eye fatigue. Standard is the 1 TB SSD which seems to be the standard nowadays and its affords plenty of storage for my personal use. The laptop has a modern Intel Core processor and is equipped with 16GB of RAM. This unit has an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 Evo Edition and it’s on the high end. Further it runs the Intel Arc for the graphics which is considered as entry level. For my personal use, the unit performs very well. I utilize photo processing programs which usually hog lots of memory. The Omni superbly handles multitasking and I’m grateful for the 16GB of RAM. This amount of RAM is a generous and suits my needs perfectly! There isn’t any noticeable lag, just smooth-as-silk operation. Upon boot up, there were several necessary updates which needed to be installed. My home internet speed is close to 400 mbps, and installation/updates were quick and smooth. Other than that, nothing was out of the ordinary. Overall, the HP OmniBook is powerful yet stylish. The combination of mostly high-end components ensures a stunning display and flawless operation. If you’re looking for a laptop that excels in performance, this laptop should be on your radar! Thoroughly enjoying this product. Recommended.

Good laptop hamstrung by poor HP support

The HP Omnibook Ultra Flip 14 is a nice laptop unless you have a problem that requires warranty service. When it comes to support, HP has fallen far short of meeting my expectations. Three months after purchase, the laptop failed to boot. I contacted HP and they concluded it was a hardware problem that would require repair. I was told the total turnaround time for the repair would be 8-10 days with a 3-day cycle time on the actual repair, with the remaining time being the shipping to/from the repair center. That estimate was provided to be about one month ago when I started the repair process. HP has had the device in their possession for 2-1/2 weeks, and I still have no update in terms of why the repair is not completed and my device not being returned. The entire process seems broken including many broken links on Web pages and emails, no support via chat or email for Omnibook AI PCs, an auto-attendant phone system that repeatedly transfers to the wrong support team, long hold times (90 minutes in one case), inaccurate repair status information, etc. For example, after spending one week in transit (HP chose ground shipping to ship the laptop across the US from PA to CA), my laptop was delivered to the repair center 2-1/2 weeks ago and the repair status on their Web status page to this day still shows "Your product has not yet been received by HP." I've tried to contact HP multiple times starting about 2 weeks ago via phone and social media channels to understand what is going on, and why my device was not being repaired within the 3-day stated cycle time and the typical response has been that someone will reach out with an update (that does not come). Here I am four weeks after starting the repair process and I still have no idea when my device might be returned. If the device were repaired and shipped today, it would be a 5-week minimum repair cycle time when you factor in return shipping. To me this is unacceptable, inconsistent with HP warranty terms, and abysmal performance relative to HP's key competitors (primarily Dell).

I was sent an open box in Exellent condition zephyrus G16 for school as a gift. However I was sent what they call a refurbished floor model. This thing cant even run a VM yet alone a standard 8gb memory game after 10 minutes it force closes even with low settings. The computer sits idle at 75% memory usage with just task manager opened.
