I bought it as an upgrade to my 7-year-old HP Spectre, but I think my old Spectre was still better. The thing I hated most was the huge touchpad. Why they are making them so big now, I don't understand. More often than not, I wanted to left click and ended up right clicking because I was just right of center. It is BEYOND annoying, though I know those touchpads are common now. The keyboard is not as responsive as my Spectre and some keys are oddly placed. I think it will be fine for many people, but I'm going back to Spectre as soon as the smaller ones come back in stock.

The screen surface was uneven where glued at the top of the screen across the body of the lid causing glare and reflection issues when looking at the screen. Body is coated in something that made it feel cheep and weird to my touch. Based on build this is a $699 device at best. I was hoping to make this my primary work device but I returned it because it was hard to work with the screen having uneven surface and reflective issues. I looked at other display units in store after the fact and they all had similar issues with the screen. The problem is within the bezel however it is distracting because of the way that light reflects off the screen.
