Loving this Laptop! Had to replace my HP Envy 17"which I also loved for the past 7 years, but damage from my pets forced me to get a new one. I was going to get another HP Envy but while researching options, making PC comparisons, and cost comparisons, I opted on this, the HP OmniBook X 17". I've had it for 3 weeks and thrilled with it. Very fast and intuitive.

So far, so good! I've been using it for about 2 weeks. Really easy to set up. Fast boot-up. No issues so far. The only little "nit" I have is that I THOUGHT that this model came w/ a backlit keyboard, but apparently it doesn't (or it doesn't work!). Oh, one other nit: Microsoft OneDrive comes pre-installed & wants to take over my backup s\and save routines, All is good otherwise so far. Great, crisp display, easy to use & port over my settings.

It’s wonderful, the big touch screen is so easy to see everything & handy to use. The lighted keyboard is also very convenient. Since I’m just an old lady that knows nothing about all the technical stuff having someone make sure it was going to work for me was great, but don’t go to the Computer Geeks to have everything moved from your old computer, they can’t do the applications you have to reinstall them, which I did not know.

I’ve been really happy with the HP OmniBook X 17-inch so far. The large touchscreen makes a big difference for multitasking and everyday use, and everything feels fast and smooth even with multiple apps open. The keyboard is comfortable, battery life has been solid, and it handles daily work without any issues. It is a bit heavy, but that’s expected for a laptop this size. Overall, it’s a dependable, easy-to-use laptop with a great screen.

Love this computer. Love the keyboard layout. Easy to type on. I use the number pad all the time. The only drawback is the weight. It’s a little heavy. But I knew that prior to purchasing. My old HP was similar size and weight. I would purchase this again.

Works fine. Was able to transfer from windows 10 and battery life is good.

Fast, very helpful solving any questions as I am not a computer wiz. My old word and excel all came thru and able to update and use them without any problems so far! I was even able to update my old printer driver myself as hp assistant helped me thru it and it is working great.

Slim lined, fast, just what I wanted. Good customer service.

Its a very nice and best laptop i have every had. Long battery life

The laptop speed is quick. I enjoy the 17.3" touch screen for my research purposes. It makes documents easier to see with the little extra inches of screen on old documents. Also the quality of the color has stellar clarity. I have enjoyed using my laptop and it has been the right choice for my purposes that I use my laptop.

Long time user of HP products. Good laptop for my needs of returning to school and work needs.

After much review of functionality, this laptop choice was absolutely the right one for me. From its screen clarity, to the keyboard layout and the numerical keypad, this laptop is a wonderful companion for professional work and leisure computer activities. I recommend it highly and the price is very reasonable as well.

I have only had this laptop about 2 weeks. So far, it's been great. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in the years to come. My last one was still going at 10 years; I was due for the upgrade!

After getting it loaded with everything on my old tower, home for two days a scam got into my laptop and did havoc. Thanks to the knowledgeable Geek Squad t was all cleaned up and now I love my laptop.

Computer is fast and easy to use. Doesn’t seem to have a lot of programs already uploaded, which is nice.

So far my new HP Omnibook X Laptop has been operating perfectly. I had to purchase the HP G5 docking station in order to use my 2 external monitors. I’m using this computer mainly as a personal computer so its capabilities are overkill. All and all, I like the 17.3 inch display and the speed (16 GB). Not sure if this can be fixed but I’m not thrilled with the ads that keep popping up.

Very nice. Had to buy a replacement for my 12-yr old HP Pavilion [R-I-P]. Was attracted by the clock speed [4.8 gHtz--faster than my work desktop!], the LARGE 17.3" screen, the "NUM" pad [must have in my work], adequate RAM and the 1TB SSD--for the price, thought it was a great package. Also, seem to recall that the graphics specs for this model with 16GB RAM were better than the graphics specs for comp models with higher in stalled RAM [e.g., 32 GB]--curious, but impressed with the "view" even though I'm no "gamer". Don't have much use for the "touch screen" nor the Copilot [AI]--was interested in the Copilot because was advertised to increase run-time up to 25 hours--but that's not my experience--at most, I get the standard 7.5-8.0 hrs I got with my old Pavilion. Also, very much dislike the extremely small font on tabs and "context menus"--can't be changed [as "confirmed" by AI], but w/i minutes, found some free programs on-line that provide that capability--that works smooth--no problems noted. Also, with the keyboard, there's a delay when you hold down a key before it repeats, but then it flies--none of my old computers ever had that delay. Similarly, it takes 3 clicks to edit a URL in the address bar--on all old computers, that could be done with a single click. Those last 3 issues are probably "Windows" issues though, but who knows.... Finally, I recall ads say [paraphrasing] this computer was built to meet military performance standards--that was an attractive point [don't recall seeing that for any other laptop], but I haven't had this one to the "front lines" yet. To reiterate, a great package for the price.

Was looking for an HP replacement that was touch screen and included the numeric key pad on the right side of keyboard. Runs fast and have had no issues.

Perfect for me. Just what I needed to replace my old desktop and Windows 11 with Copilot. Keyboard works well and has full-sized numeric keypad and touch screen. I absolutely love it and so does my wife.
