Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the product's overall performance, long battery life, and good speed. Its portability, lightweight design, and compact size are also highly appreciated, along with the bonus touchscreen. Although some users observed heating under heavy load, and color accuracy was mentioned, these minor points do not significantly detract from its core strengths.

I got this laptop on Memorial Day on same and have been using primarily for website development. The laptop never gets super hot, and battery lasts roughly 7-8 hours. It's fast and responsive with all my programs open. For a regular user, this would be overkill, but last them a long time before they had to replace it. The screen is crystal clear and can act as a tablet, is that's what you need. Very happy with this laptop, one of the better ones released over the years.

I've been using the HP OmniBook X Flip 14 for several weeks, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 2K touchscreen is bright, sharp, and very responsive whether I'm working, streaming videos, or taking notes in tablet mode. The 2-in-1 design is incredibly versatile and makes it easy to switch between laptop and tablet depending on what I'm doing. Performance has been excellent. The Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and 16GB RAM handle multitasking smoothly, even when I have multiple browser tabs, SAP development tools, Teams meetings, and productivity applications running simultaneously. Boot times are fast, and the 512GB SSD provides quick access to files and applications. One of the biggest highlights is the battery life. I can comfortably get through a full workday without constantly looking for a charger. The laptop is also lightweight, making it easy to carry while traveling or commuting. The Atmospheric Blue color gives it a premium look, and the build quality feels solid. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the touchscreen works flawlessly in every mode. Pros: Excellent performance and multitasking capability Sharp and responsive 2K touchscreen Long battery life Lightweight and premium design Smooth 2-in-1 convertible functionality Fast SSD and Copilot+ AI features Overall, this is one of the best Windows laptops I've owned. It offers a great balance of performance, portability, battery life, and versatility. I would highly recommend it to students, professionals, and anyone looking for a reliable premium 2-in-1 laptop. Customers frequently praise its performance, portability, battery life, touchscreen quality, and lightweight design, which aligns with my experience.

Performance with the Intel Ultra 5 and 16GB RAM has been great for everyday work and multitasking. Battery life easily gets me through the day, and the overall build feels premium. For the price, it’s a solid 2-in-1 device and definitely worth buying.

Bought this for my wife's trip to Poland. The screen is awesome Setup is fast and painless. Yes it is not a super high end computer, but the battery was great for emails and watching movies on the long flights from Las Vegas to Poland, 16+ hours with only 2, 2 hour layovers. The heat wasn't bad for sitting on a lap, the computer boots fast and runs outlook, excel and PowerPoint fast. Gaming with basic xbox games like gears of war and Madden was good and better than expected for the price. Overall a great value and far exceeded what i expected in a sub 700 computer. Very happy with this purchase.

I like that it can fold into a tablet, which makes it useful for school, notes, and watching videos. The battery life is good, and it handles multiple apps without slowing down. Overall, it’s a great computer for everyday use, work, and entertainment.

I recently purchased the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 Copilot+ PC 14”, and I can honestly say it was the best decision. My daughter is a high school student taking dual classes, and this laptop has been incredibly user-friendly for her. She’s able to navigate everything easily from assignments to online platforms without any issues, and the touchscreen feature makes it even more convenient for her schoolwork. The performance is fast, reliable, and perfect for multitasking, which is exactly what she needs for her busy schedule. Overall, we absolutely loved it and couldn’t be happier with how well it supports her learning.

I wanted something to do some light photo editing, but not to get into on the go video editing, word processing, lots of presentations, light graphic design and it works great, pushing limitations it runs Fortnite at 720p and it's great for Stardew Valley, but I already have something for on the go gaming. The size is great, portable and the chassis looks really durable, I still keep it on its sleeve, the aspect ratio is kinda hard to get acostumed to but still comfortable. The Touchscreen is a pleasant surprise, this laptop has been great for my on the go productivity.

Great lap with a great price. Easy to set up and get connected to my home network. Best buy even price matched 10 days after sale, I saved $200. The OmniBook light weight makes it east to travel with and the battery live is good. This replaced a 6 year old laptop from a competitor and I am very happy with the performance.

This HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 we shared and have enjoyed. The Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and 16GB of RAM keep everything moving fast and smoothly, whether it’s school assignments, videos, research, work, email, or multitasking. There is a bright, very responsive 2K touch screen, and the 2-in-1 flexibility makes it easy for him to operate it in tablet mode, and I prefer it as a basic laptop. We both like that it boots so quickly and that the 512GB SSD loads programs so quickly. Copilot+ features have been surprisingly helpful as well; he’s using them for studies and summaries, and I have used them for short tasks during the day. Battery life is reasonable, but not if both of us use it heavily, so we keep the charger at hand. This laptop, on the whole, has been reliable, simple to share, and sufficient in power for all things school and work related. Great purchase for a family.

I was thinking about getting a framework 12, and then this went on sale for really cheap ($530, with $50 in gift cards back), so I bought this. There's a video on Youtube by HP where they replace all the parts that made me feel a bit better about durability here but we'll see how it is over time. The screen is good enough for me. Speed is really good. When it's unplugged and I'm doing things that aren't really strenuous, it's totally quiet. It does make noise when plugged in (probably from the battery charging). The fan ramping up is somewhat loud, but not wholly unpleasant - it's not high-pitched. I use the 2 in 1 capability and it's great. Usually I use it in reverse mode, to play ... Balatro. I really like the color of the shell, it's much more interesting than the normal 'platinum' color of most things. I also like the way the body's set up - it has this weird platform that makes the laptop a little chunkier/heavier, but it feels nice in the hand/on a lap. The only real downside of that is that the screen is much lighter than the base, which leads to some tension if you hold it by just the screen for any length of time (don't do that!). Works fine with my MPP 1.0 pen. I like the keyboard, but it's very, very shallow: that's why I say you should try it in store first. You want to make sure you're OK with the reduced travel of these keys. But I like it: I'm going to replace the hard drive and reinstall Windows on it and then use it as my main laptop for the next year or more, depending on what else comes out. The battery life is not what I'd heard Lunar Lake was, but it's good enough for me - I keep it at the 80% max 'battery saving' mode and I get about an hour per 10%, which means I can hang out with friends for 5 hours doing things on my laptop without really worrying about it [and if I want to really not worry, I can just ... remove that setting in the BIOS and fully charge].

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 for both school and personal tasks, and it’s been amazing. The 14" 2K touchscreen is sharp and responsive, which makes reading, note-taking, and multitasking feel effortless. Performance is smooth and reliable thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and 16GB of RAM—no lag whether I’m working on assignments, streaming, or handling multiple tabs at once. I also love the flexibility of the flip design; switching between laptop and tablet mode is perfect for studying or relaxing. Overall, it’s a sleek, powerful, and versatile laptop that easily fits into my everyday routine.

I brought a HP OmniBook X few days back and after using it for a few weeks, I’m genuinely surprised at how much power HP fit into such a lightweight machine. The AI features are what impressed me first apps launch instantly, video calls looks brilliant quality with the Ai upgrades, and everything runs smooth even when I have several tasks open. This laptop feels premium feel, and the 360° flip hinge is solid and super whether I’m taking notes, watching movies or working in tight spaces. Battery life has been excellent too — I easily get through a full day of work and streaming without needing to charge. The keyboard feels great to type on, and the touchscreen responds quickly. If you’re looking for something portable that can handle hard tasks, multitasking, and everyday use while staying cool and quiet, this laptop is a great choice. For the overall performance and value.
