This is my first HP AI laptop, and overall I’m impressed. The display clarity, brightness, and sound quality are excellent. The device feels premium and performs well for most tasks. However, I did expect it to be a bit faster, especially when using Microsoft Copilot. The screen occasionally freezes for a few seconds during Copilot chat, even though everything else runs smoothly. Outside of that, the laptop works great and delivers a solid experience.

The computer runs smoothly will all the softwares I have. Only issue is that the computer won't revive the wifi connection if the computer needs an update. It's a pretty big computer so it doesn't fit in most backpacks or bags. Overall a good computer with minor issues.

HP Laptop was easy to setup and transfer from my older laptop via Bluetooth. So far so good. The SSD brings it up quickly. There are some software imbedded that is intrusive, but it hasn't caused any b8g problems so far. My windows 10 laptop would not accept the windows 11 upgrade, which was pretty lousy and forsed me to buy newer.

I am extremely disappointed with the thermal performance of this laptop. Despite its high speed in basic tasks, it fails miserably under any sustained workload. The Experience: I attempted to render a standard 1.5-hour video at only 480p resolution. Even with such a low-resolution task, the laptop consistently crashed and shut down completely upon reaching the 30-50% mark. The left side of the chassis becomes dangerously hot while the right side remains cold, indicating a major flaw in internal heat distribution. The Cooling Struggle: In an attempt to fix this, I invested in two different types of external coolers: A standard Takros laptop cooler (which did nothing). A high-end, high-speed Gaming Turbofan cooler (DEPGI) designed for maximum pressure. Even with the gaming cooler running at maximum speed (3500 RPM) and positioned directly under the CPU hot spot, the laptop still suffered from "Heat Soak" and crashed. The internal cooling system is simply not capable of handling more than 30 minutes of continuous processing. Verdict: This laptop is fine for watching YouTube or light office work, but it is useless for video editing or any production tasks, even at low resolutions like 480p. If you plan to do any work that requires the CPU to run for more than a few minutes, stay away from this model. The sleek design is not worth the constant thermal failures.
