I liked to rate products i shop for from good, better, best. Value laptop wall buys usually dont even make the Good Criteria category as I wanna be able to tell people it actually is good not just “good enough” that being said this is a good laptop, I did get rid of some preinstalled apps as I knew i didnt need some like McAffe, regardless good battery life, good screen quality, good portable size, keys are 1:1 so they may be different for many users but not bad once you type for awhile and realize its not bad. Change is inevitable. Dont fight it embrace it. Love the laptop and hope yall do too

The battery life is in excellent condition, as it lasts for more than 8 hours before I recharge it. Also display is pristine, and the speed is in par.

This is the best thing that ever happened to me I use it for school and the copilot feature that comes with it makes it so easy for me. I had to bring my two other students to come and get another one. It fast charges writhing 30mins and keeps power for too long. Easy and portable.

The screen quality is brilliant and the processor speed is awesome. The custom features provide for individuality which enhances the overall performance of this product. The AI feature is definitely a plus, Needless to say, there is nothing about my purchase to dislike. Last but not least, utilization of my laptop is geographically limitless. I am an advocate and would and have recommended this laptop.

Look, anyone who is tech savvy or into gaming or any other of a dozen categories requiring a high performance laptop should move on. This won’t be helpful. For everyone like me, please feel free to continue. This little gem is amazing. I was pleased with the price had it been just a simple open/close laptop (my original belief. I soon realized it had a touchscreen, could convert to a tablet, etc. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It’s easy to use, fast, the graphics and colors are clear & vibrant. The AI supported Copilot is occasionally frustrating but generally helpful. For the $$, I can’t imagine a better laptop

I have been extremely impressed with this HP OmniBook X Flip. The 2-in-1 design is sturdy and well-engineered, and the 14-inch 2K touch display is bright, sharp, and very responsive in both laptop and tablet modes. Performance has been excellent for everyday productivity, multitasking, and light creative work thanks to the Ryzen AI processor and 16GB of memory. The system feels fast and responsive, boots quickly, and handles multiple applications without slowdown. Battery life has been reliable for a full workday, and the build quality feels premium. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a powerful and flexible Windows laptop.

The New Standard for Windows Laptops?

HP didn't disappoint with this premium laptop. This is one of the best laptops I've felt. The all-metal design is sturdy. It feels solid and not like some thin aluminum. That was the first thing I noticed. I'm not sure what coating HP is using. This device doesn't absorb fingerprints like some other devices. Pros -All Metal-Premium Design -Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-C (10GB) port, and 2 USB-A (10GB) ports -Lightweight Package that can be easily put into a bag All day battery Life at 60% Screen Brightness, I was able to get over 15 Hours of online video playback -A Good Everyday Processor that will get the basic needs and some basic content creation done -A Quiet Laptop, Not once did I ever hear the fans ramp up -The Keyboard (Subjective) has very short travel, and I mean short, but the clicks were satisfying -16GB of RAM and 500GB of Storage (I would like to see 24GB of RAM) Again, I can't get over how nice this laptop feels. The speakers get loud even though they fire down. The Omnibook X Flip has set the standard for me for Windows Laptops. There is one flaw, however. This is where I feel like the mark was slightly missed. Negative -HP cheaped out on the screen. The screen is clear and crisp, but its colors are not 100% accurate. This may be a turn-off for some creators. You made such an elegant laptop. You even gave it a glossy screen, which is ideal for a two-in-one. I'm even fine with the 1920x1200. Yet, the color accuracy was missed. -Also, no laptop in 2025 should come with McAfee... Uninstall this NOW! HP has a lot of "bloatware" that comes with the device. There is so much "HP" this and that. Why did my device come with HP's gaming software installed? This is not a gaming laptop... The bloatware needs to stop... -AI... AI... AI... I don't care about the AI because it's nowhere near as good on laptops. Feels like HP is shoving it in our faces... -RAM not upgradable but the SSD is Even with the negatives, this is a great laptop. It is suitable for an everyday laptop, a school laptop, or a business laptop. You get everything that you need to get your work done. Lightweight and portable with enough ports to be used as a home work station! Just relax on the bloatware HP...

Solid specs but not sold on the AI companion

I wanted to take as much time as I could with this new HP notebook computer before providing a review. This came mostly from wanting to make sure I understood the AI companion component or the offering. Let me start with the basics first. This HP comes with pretty solid specs for the home user, and offers the added benefit of a full flip touchscreen for those who prefer to interact that way. It handled all of my usual tasks with ease and the screen was very crisp when not getting hit by glare. Where I found myself questioning the usefulness was the AI companion concept. For those who know absolutely nothing about the variety of AI engines out there, I suppose this could be a starting place. But given Windows has copilot built in, I couldn’t find myself going into the companion app to do things it would already do with simple prompting. In my experiences this functionality added additional steps for users who already know what they are doing. The one part of the AI companion i did find useful was the “perform” tab which gave system specific information and allowed you to give prompts like “make the camera follow my face” and get to a quicker answer than clicking around aimlessly in the settings. All in all I’d say it’s a great computer for the price from a system standpoint but I wouldn’t let the allure of the “AI companion” be a specific draw unless you know nothing about, nor want to learn about, AI prompting via the most popular engines.

I'm using this for basic web browsing, some budget tracking in excel, and some work in word and Canva. It has been able to handle 20+ open browsers, an excel file, and powerpoint all at once without slowing down. I haven't noticed battery life being a problem in general, and specifically I've been using it to browse multiple sites for the past 4 hours and it's gone from 100% to 44%. The mousepad is a little sensitive in some cases and not enough in others. Overall I'm happy with this HP OmniBook.

Got this for my daughter who is heading off to college in a couple of weeks. We were looing fr something lightweight with a nice screen, good memory and good processing power. Didnt need a lot because she’s not studying quantum physics… The flip screen is really cool. Got her a smart pen and the integration is flawless. Its also touchscreen so she has that flexibility. She says she loves it so that makes me a happy mom.

I am very happy with this laptop and meets my expectations in all aspects. It was very easy to set up and get going. Design is sleek and light weight for day to day work. Processing is fast to open apps, navigating websites or launching large size files. It also has great battery power and lasts sufficiently long. I also like its flip feature to turn the laptop into a large screen tablet.

This laptop has everything you need. The cpu, memory and storage are great for everyday office and home needs. The 2k screen is bright and colorful and very responsive when used as a touch screen. The keyboard and touchpad work as expected and the overall build is solid but still light enough to be easily portable. Overall its a great laptop.

Works pretty well so far despite the occasional hiccup. Screen is really clear, and the slim design makes it seem pretty sleek. The battery life is more like around 15 hours of regular use, but it still runs really well.

Laptop is great at the price below $600. It's light weight and has good build quality. Sometimes when you use it while charging, it heats up but otherwise it's a great product. Although I was not provided Pen and Case even after I showed them the chat from sales person. It literally took my 3 days to argue with their team but I didn't get any compensation.

5 stars if you can get it on sale. I got this when it was around $500 and at that price this laptop is nearly perfect if you want something that can do both light PC work and editing/drawing. BestBuy doesn't sell the HP Tilt pen recommended for this thing. You can get it on amazon for around $65, its pretty solid but any MPP 2.0 pen should work with it. I'd recommend a digital art glove for drawing ($7 on amazon or just cut a few fingers off a normal glove). Palm recognition is pretty good but if you try to use the eraser assigned to one of the pen buttons and your palm is on the screen it will jump back and forth between eraser and pen. My biggest gripes are that it gets pretty hot and the laptop I received has pretty bad LED bleed even for what's typical with an IPS screen. I was worried the keyboard would be a dealbreaker for me due to the cramped, oversized keys but it isn't. I do mistype more often than usual because of it but it's really not that bad and feels premium. The whole build feels premium aside from the higher than usual amount of LED bleed.
