Review - Venkat
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 Copilot+ PC (14” 2K, Intel Core Ultra 5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) on 01/24/26 from Pentagon City, and I’m extremely happy with my decision. The performance is fast and smooth for everyday multitasking — browsing with multiple tabs, Microsoft Office work, video calls, and streaming all run effortlessly. The Intel Core Ultra 5 processor paired with 16GB RAM makes everything feel responsive without lag. The 14” 2K touchscreen is bright and sharp, and the 2-in-1 flip design is very convenient. I use it in laptop mode for work and tablet mode for reading and note-taking. The Atmospheric Blue color looks premium and modern. Battery life easily lasts through a full workday, which is a huge plus. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the overall build feels solid yet lightweight — perfect for travel or commuting. Overall, this is an excellent value for a Copilot+ PC. Highly recommended for professionals, students, or anyone looking for a versatile and powerful everyday laptop.

My review to get a chance to win $400 gift card.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 Copilot+ PC from Best Buy, and I’ve been blown away by how well it performs. The 14-inch 2K touch-screen is gorgeous colors are vibrant, text is sharp, and the touchscreen feels very smooth and responsive. Being able to flip it into tablet mode makes it super convenient for note-taking, drawing, or even just relaxing and streaming. The performance is excellent. The Intel Core Ultra 5 paired with 16GB of memory handles multitasking with ease. I can stream, work on documents, run multiple apps, and switch between them without any lag. The 512GB SSD is more than enough storage for my files, and apps load up almost instantly. It’s also very quiet and doesn’t get overly hot, which is a big plus for me. Another thing I really love is the design and portability. The Atmospheric Blue finish looks premium and modern, and the laptop itself is lightweight enough to carry around all day without feeling bulky. Battery life has been solid as well, lasting me through classes and work sessions without constantly hunting for an outlet. The only con might be that it didn’t come with a laptop pencil for touch screen. Overall, this laptop feels like the perfect balance between power and portability. Whether for school, work, or just everyday use, it’s versatile, reliable, and a pleasure to use. Honestly, one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

Solid budget laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this laptop for 2 weeks now. My model is Intel Core Ultra 5, 2k touchsreen 400 nits, 16 GB Memory, 512 GB SSD. Overall a decent machine if priced right (I got mine on back-to-school discount and I believe that is actually the right price for it). Pros: - Fast for lightweight work - 16 GB memory (although soldered) is enough to futureproof it for a few years (Win 11 works very well on it so I assume next OS might perform well too) - SSD can be upgraded so 512 GB is good enough to get you started - Screen is bright (400 nits) - you can clear tell the difference compared to a 300 nits screen - It is light (just above 3 lbs) - 2-in-1 has its benefits in confined spaces (like on airplanes or when want to play something like chess and the keyboard just gets in the way) - battery last long (did not put it to the test for how many hours but it easily got me through the day with light coding and some video watching) - Never got hot during watching videos or browsing internet. I did not try gaming. - Fans are quiet Cons (only the first one is a major one and the reason I took a star off - the rest are cons that can be expected in budget laptops so it is more about knowing what you are getting): - Mouse trackpad is very bad for right click. Period. Sometimes you have to click 4-5 times for it to register. It may be HP drivers or hardware. Coming from Lenovo and Mac, this does not even come close in performance. Several others mentioned it. If you hook up a peripheral mouse, everything is fine. THIS IS WHY I TOOK A STAR OFF - in 2025, mouse trackpad should work fine in all laptops. We had this technology for decades. - Screen is not the most vibrant (62.5% RGB) and the viewing angles are so-so - I put it next to my higher end Dell monitors and next to macbook monitors and you can tell the difference. (I did not have high expectations here so this is NOT why I took a star - I knew this was a budget laptop so the screen was not going to be high end) - Screen is highly reflective (more so than on Mac or ipad). (I knew this when I bought it and saw it in store so this is also NOT the reason i took the star off) - Hinges at the lowest position (in either regular mode close to 10 degrees open folded close to 350 degrees sitting on table with keyboard facing down) - do not hold the screen. In more common position all is fine. The 16" model of Omni X, based on what I saw in store, has stronger hold at those low points (close to being closed). I returned one laptop that had very weak hinges (around 20 degrees open the screen would just fall) and the second one is better but still not perfect (all my other laptops hold the screen up even at the lowest point). I saw it for both Intel and AMD versions so I just think the part is on the cheaper side - again I can accept that since at normal working position all is fine. Just calibrate your expectations again - this is a good 2-in-1, not a premium version though. Again, this is NOT the reason I took a star off. Gimmick or not - the new processors positioned to handle AI tasks locally with the integrated NPU. Time will tell how useful this feature is (as the space around AI and in particular AI assistants and agents is evolving rapidly) but I personally feel this is more for future proofing than current (end of 2025 and first half of 2026) use. If someone needs a computer for school, CPUs that are 1-2 yrs old with little to no NPU are more than adequate. Overall, i do recommend the laptop if you find it below $550 (either in the Intel or AMD versions, all other things the same). Almost great budget laptop, with the mouse trackpad being the main issue.

Best combo 2-1 laptop tablet
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OmniBook 2-in-1 is sleek, lightweight, and perfect for everyday work or school. The touchscreen flips smoothly into tablet mode, and the display is bright and sharp. Performance is great for browsing, documents, and streaming — not a gaming laptop, but fast enough for daily tasks. Battery life lasts most of the day, and it charges quickly. The keyboard feels good to type on, and the pen support is a plus for notes or sketching. It does warm up a bit with heavy use, but nothing serious.

Excellent Performance and Versatility in a Sleek D
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 Copilot+ PC for daily work and personal use, and it has exceeded my expectations so far. The first thing that stood out to me was the build quality and design—the Atmospheric Blue finish looks premium, and the laptop feels solid without being heavy. The 14” 2K touch screen is crisp, bright, and very responsive, making it enjoyable for everything from productivity tasks to streaming and browsing. Performance has been smooth and reliable thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor and 16GB of memory. I frequently multitask with multiple tabs, documents, and apps open, and the system handles it without lag. The 512GB SSD provides fast boot times and quick file access, which noticeably improves day-to-day efficiency. I really enjoy the 2-in-1 flexibility. Being able to switch between laptop, tent, and tablet mode is genuinely useful, especially when traveling or working in different environments. The touch screen and hinge feel sturdy and well-designed, not flimsy like some convertibles I’ve used in the past. Battery life has been solid for my use, easily lasting through a full workday with mixed tasks. I also appreciate the integration of Copilot+ features, which add helpful productivity tools without feeling intrusive. If I had one minor critique, it would be that I wish it had an additional USB port for accessories, but this hasn’t been a dealbreaker. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this laptop. It offers a great balance of performance, portability, and versatility, and I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and modern 2-in-1 device.

Great everyday laptop — solid performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the HP OmniBook X Flip 14-FM0013DX from Best Buy and I’m very satisfied so far. Right out of the box the laptop felt sturdy yet lightweight — the 14″ size hits a nice balance between portability and screen real estate. The touchscreen is responsive, and I appreciate the 2-in-1 flip design when I want to use it like a tablet for browsing or watching videos. Performance is smooth and snappy: everyday tasks like browsing, email, Word documents, and streaming run without a hitch. Battery life is good — I can get through a typical work or day-to-day session without needing to recharge immediately. The keyboard and trackpad feel comfortable for typing, and overall the build quality feels premium for the price. What I like: • Compact and easy to carry — perfect for travel or moving between rooms/locations. • Responsive touchscreen + convertible 2-in-1 flexibility. • Solid performance for everyday work, web browsing, streaming. • Good battery life for general productivity. • Comfortable keyboard and reliable trackpad. Minor drawbacks (if any): • Not designed for heavy workloads like 3D rendering or intensive gaming — more for productivity and everyday use. • If you’re used to larger screens, 14″ might feel a bit small for long creative sessions or video editing. Overall: I’d recommend this laptop for students, professionals, or everyday users looking for a reliable, portable, and versatile machine for work, study, browsing, and media. It offers very good value for its price range.

A dependable daily powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review: I bought this laptop from Best Buy approximately four weeks ago, and I've been using it every day for work and play. It seemed sturdy and well-built straight out of the package, and setup was quick and easy. Performance: Multitasking is done with ease by the HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 - Copilot+ PC - 14" 2K Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 5 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Atmospheric Blue combo. When working with Office apps and streaming music, I typically have 8–10 tabs open in Chrome, and it has never lag. I was astonished at this pricing because even basic photo and video editing functions well. Display & Sound: For viewing movies, the screen is clear, bright, and has excellent color accuracy. Although I wish they had a little more bass, the speakers are clear. Ideal for binge-watching YouTube or Netflix. Keyboard & Trackpad: Good key travel makes typing comfortable. Gestures function flawlessly, and the trackpad is quick and fluid. Battery Life: I often get [enter actual usage hours] out of a full charge, which is more than enough to get me through a workday. It charges really quickly as well. Design & Construction: Compact, light, and portable. Compared to my last laptop, the finish feels more upscale and doesn't get fingerprints as easily. Small Drawbacks: While hardly a deal breaker, it's worth mentioning that fans can become a bit noisy while performing demanding work. For convenience, I would have delighted to have had an additional USB port. Conclusion: In terms of performance, portability, and affordability, this laptop excels. Students, remote workers, and part-time producers looking for a dependable yet affordable solution would find it ideal. I would unquestionably suggest it to anyone searching for a trustworthy daily device. Go get yours. I live in the UK but got this for my sister in living in US. These were her words.

Great bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptop. I use it for travel and value good battery life, a good screen, and have zero patience for a slow computer. I do occasional CAD, image processing, and games and this is almost perfect for my uses. Pros: -touchscreen & flip is nice when you want it and works great as a laptop when you want that. -battery life is pretty good. Probalbly more lile 10-11hrs of real use but its still works well/fast in power saving mode. No pen but one can be purchased. -powerful for how compact it is. These lunar lake architecture cpus are quite impressive. Ive run CAD, light image processing, and very casual gaming on it and it is pretty fast despite its energy efficency. -great looking screen with good resolution. 14" is plenty in size as long as its at least 1080p resolution(this is). Just make the scaling 100% because the default makes things not fit which will make the screen feel small. For a travel laptop i wouldnt want any bigger. Cons: -integrated RAM cant be upgraded. This isnt 100% a bad thing because the integrated ram is part of the reason these are so fast. 16gb really is for all but the most extreem laptop uses, but i would not get the 8gb model. -512 gb hard drive is a little small, but the price to get the version of this laptop with a 1tb doesnt totaly make sense given nvme SSD prices these days (price difference should be like $40-$50, not $100 or more). This part can be upgraded so i will when i outgrow it. The drive is at least a fast one (acording to specs) so i decided not to swap it out with another one I have laying around.

Versatile 2-in-1 with Impressive AI Features
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OmniBook X Flip delivers solid performance in a flexible convertible design. The Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor handles everyday tasks smoothly, and the Copilot+ PC features add genuinely useful AI capabilities for productivity and creativity. Pros: Beautiful 2K touchscreen with vibrant colors, excellent battery life thanks to efficient Intel chip, sturdy hinge for tablet/tent modes, 16GB RAM handles multitasking well, premium Atmospheric Blue finish looks sharp. Cons: 512GB storage fills up quickly if you work with large files, keyboard flex noticeable during heavy typing, price point is higher than comparable non-AI laptops. Verdict: Ideal for users who want versatility and AI-powered features in a premium package. The convertible design genuinely adds value for note-taking and media consumption. If you need a traditional laptop only, you might find better value elsewhere, but for those who'll use the 2-in-1 functionality, it's a compelling choice.

Solid choice for a budget laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do basic things with my personal laptop: web browsing, tracking finances, using Word, Excel, etc. I also prefer 14" laptops as anything bigger feels too bulky. I bought this when it was deeply discounted on a back-to-school sale so the price was right. This laptop easily handles all my laptop needs. It's fast enough to handle the tasks that I throw at it. I am pleasantly surprised at how long the battery lasts. I have an HP work laptop and its battery doesn't last nearly as long as this one does. Of course I'm doing much less with this laptop but still the battery life is impressive. I also appreciate the deep color blue of the exterior which makes it stand out from the rest of the boring laptops out there. It's also nice to have USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI ports built right in so I don't have to carry dongles with me. The mouse pad works fine for me as well. About the screen. On the plus side, it is plenty bright enough. I can use the lowest brightness setting and still see the screen clearly. However, the colors are not as bright as other screens including my HP work laptop. The colors are there but just muted. For the price I paid for the laptop, I'll easily live with this given all the other upsides. I also like that you can write on the screen with a stylus. I bought the "HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen" from the HP web site since it was on sale, and it works great!
