Honestly this has exceeded my expectations. I dreaded getting it up and running. When I did open it up to get it started, in no time at all I was using it for schoolwork. More that what was needed for school but I wanted a computer to last a while. So far after a week of use I have no complaints. I would recommend.

The HP Omnibook X flip 2 in 1 was a great purchase! I looked at less expensive models but decided the Omnibook was worth the higher price. It is so much faster compared with my old HP laptop with a hard drive. As part of the setup process it loaded most of my files without worry. I highly recommend this laptop!

Great machine purchased on a deal of the day. The keyboard buttons are larger than we anticipated. It looks and feels strange, but overall, this is a great laptop. It is powerful, fast and has plenty of storage, for our needs. We love the Flip feature - great for watching videos.

Tl;dr Don’t purchase this laptop, unless you are literally doing the most basic of the basic, or incredibly simple, work tasks, don’t expect to really be able to run even the most basic and simple games without extreme leg, overheating, the fan’s going absolutely haywire, and the computer shutting down… Also be aware That the windows hello feature on this particular device is broken as mess

So at first, I thought this laptop seemed pretty great, seemed to run very quietly, loved the fact that I could flip, and I could draw and stuff on it, loved how sleek and nice it looked, however… I realized that once you tried to do any sort of task other than scroll through the web, the fans go into overdrive, and it overheats-
Not only that, the windows yellow feature is constantly breaking… Either constantly telling you that your pin is no longer working and that you have to reset it but then just giving you error, error code after error code, and within about two weeks of having it, the Face ID feature completely stopped working. No matter how many times I tried to reset it or use the codes sent through my email to reset Windows, it just wouldn’t work, even if the computer was fully up-to-date, when trying to open the WebCam I realized that it just didn’t work… Like, completely black screen. Yes, the WebCam is enabled, and the laptop has gone through no trauma, so it makes no sense that the facial recognition feature as well as the camera itself just decided to quit the job.
I have a few old laptops from high school that genuinely function better than this computer, but they are so old they can’t really run any sort of games whatsoever, so I purchased this laptop with the intent of playing some games with… Not extreme demand.
This laptop had a difficult time running Stardew valley… Stardew valley… it would overheat and lag on a game that has so little demand to it.
I tried a couple different games that require very little, such as that, fields of mistria, and Palia online as well- within the first very few months of having this computer I realized that it was artifacting, I’m not the tech expert, but my boyfriend is. He loves building PCs and he’s been obsessed with gaming and computers his whole life and he’s the one that told me that it seems like there are a lot of issues with this laptop.
I’m not sure if I just got a model with a lot of issues or… I have no idea.
Like I said, I purchased this laptop because they reviews seemed to be overall positive if you were on the lower end of gaming and not expecting something insanely crazy for such a low price, but honestly for this price, and to only be able to scroll the web and not much else without the computer overheating and saying, bye-bye… Way overpriced. This laptop is basically a phone that you can run games on if you want to risk destroying the device you’re actually on (the laptop) the screen size is nice, and when it actually functions the way it should, I think it could be fantastic, but like I said, I’m not sure if I just got a model that happened to have several issues going on with it or what, because I love the design, I love how it feels, I love how beautiful the screen is, and the keyboard and everything about the design, and even a lot of the features, however, the way the laptop itself actually RUNS when doing anything aside from the MOST basic tasks needs some serious improvement. Lol
I don’t usually write reviews, but because I’m not very technologically illiterate, I thought I might help somebody else out that is on the fence about this and knows as little as I do… I wouldn’t really recommend this, definitely dig deeper and talk to people that are more educated and do more research. I did quite a bit, but obviously not enough lol I thought this could handle the basics but it seems like it really can’t
