I got this for my girlfriend as she needed a new laptop and she works remotely, we love the keypad first of all, it is so different from the common style of keypads that we have in Dell or Lenovo laptops. The screen is perfect, not too small and not too big. The touch screen is so cool and that it is very convenient as well that you can flip and fold and that it can function as a usual tablet. The RAM and the memory capacity is just about right for daily office work and the resolution is fantastic and the battery lasts longer than my Dell!!! And best of all, I got this for a good price compared to the same specs that you can find in amazon!!!

I recently purchased the flip x laptop and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and, especially, its versatile design. This laptop successfully bridges the gap between a high-performing work machine and a flexible, portable tablet. The Flip Feature: A Game Changer The standout feature is undoubtedly the 360^ circ hinge. The ability to effortlessly transition between Laptop Mode, Tent Mode (perfect for watching videos on a plane or small desk), and Tablet Mode has significantly enhanced my workflow and entertainment. The hinge feels sturdy and well-engineered, giving me confidence that it will stand up to frequent use. In Tablet Mode, the touchscreen is responsive and accurate, making it great for light browsing and media consumption. Performance: Snappy and Reliable In terms of raw power, this laptop is a beast. Powered by a AMD Ryzen 5 Ai processor and 16GG of RAM, multitasking is a breeze. I've been running demanding applications like Photoshop and a dozen Chrome tabs / large spreadsheets and video conferencing simultaneously without any noticeable slowdowns or stuttering. Speed: Boot-up is nearly instantaneous thanks to the SSD storage. Graphics: [Optional - only if relevant] The integrated/dedicated graphics light gaming / high-resolution video editing surprisingly well. Design & Build Quality The overall aesthetic is sleek and modern. The chassis feels premium to the touch, and the weight is manageable for a flip-style device. The Full HD / 4K display is bright and the colors are vibrant, though I would perhaps wish for slightly thinner bezels / a little more brightness when working outdoors. Minor Drawbacks No device is perfect, and I have a couple of minor gripes: Battery Life: While good, it's not phenomenal. Under heavy load, I get about 5-6 hours before needing a charger. Port Selection: I sometimes miss having a dedicated Ethernet port / full-size SD card slot. However, the USB-C / Thunderbolt] ports offer great connectivity with a dock. The Verdict The FLIP X 2 in 1 delivers on its promise of combining excellent performance with unmatched flexibility. If you're looking for a powerful machine that can easily adapt to different scenarios—from a serious work laptop to a relaxed tablet for movie night—this is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended for students, professionals, and anyone who values versatility.

The display alone makes this a Great purchase. It is a Beautiful display, the colors are vibrant and rich, and so much easier on the eyes. I don't do any gaming or heavy computing so I can't attest to heavy usage, but it's great for my use. It hasn't had any lagging issues and it's fast with loading and opening multiple windows. I like the flip design because I don't have to stop what I'm doing like cooking to see the recipe. The touch screen is an added bonus. The battery life is good, I have used it on battery for 2 hours with the battery going down only 12%, but I have own this only for a month.

The new Omni is quite a machine for the money retailing at $849. Lots of positive things about it, solidly made, the Ryzen 5 CPU is adequately fast for the casual user the display is very nice, has touch screen and backlit keyboard adding premium value and more usability to your purchase. Battery life is good. The stereo sound speakers are very nice. On sale I paid $551 which for a backlit keyboard machine was a good price. Best buy doubles the factory 1 year warranty to 2 years, that is exceptional and makes it worth buying at this retailer. The Best buy tech chat was efficient and was able to help me with set up questions to their credit!
Cons: The machines a little heavy at 4.2 pounds, but that means its more solidly built too.
The keyboard is not the best for my typing with the caps key set too close to the "A" key for my taste, but I believe in time I will adapt to the new feel.
There is no SD card slot of any kind, which I miss, but you can just use a USB card adapter to overcome this deficiency.
Those are the only negatives I have, its overall a great machine and I am happy with my decision to purchase this unit. I expect it to last a long long time as HP is known for its longevity and is makiong a very nice quality machine !

Bought my first laptop (brand name). Display seemed ok. Boot up speed faster than my old desktop. Keyboard meh, but I am no typist. But, it wouldn't update through the initial setup. Had to update manually. Then the battery life...4 hours of streaming or just surfing and battery below 10%. Charged and drained many times. Still 4 hours. Returned that thing.
Went to BB. Talked to Ty. They had a great deal on an HP laptop/tablet. Absolutely no comparison. Same memory and drive size. Upgraded chipset. Onboard AI. Better sound. Same price, vivid display, fast boot, awesome keyboard (with a backlight that actually helps). Battery lasts almost 10 hours. Oh, and it doesn't get hot just surfing.
Would highly recommend an HP omnibook flip. If that's not what you are after, talk to Ty, get set up.

Performance is excellent with the Ryzen AI processor, and everything feels responsive and efficient. Battery life is solid, the keyboard and touch experience are great, and overall it feels premium and well built. A fantastic all-round laptop that’s a pleasure to use.

HP OmniBook X Flip 16” 2-in-1 (Ryzen AI 5 340, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) — Honest Review
I picked up the HP OmniBook X Flip 16-inch 2-in-1 during Black Friday and I’ve been using it daily for work, multitasking, and content creation. Overall, this machine is solid.
Performance
This laptop handles real work. I run multiple apps at once — browser tabs, documents, spreadsheets, design tools — and it stays smooth with almost no lag. The Ryzen AI 5 340 paired with 16GB of RAM is more than capable for everyday business use and creative tasks.
Touchscreen & 2-in-1 Design
The touchscreen is on point. Responsive, accurate, and smooth whether I’m scrolling, editing, or flipping it into tablet mode. The flip design makes it easy to switch between laptop and tablet depending on how I’m working.
Display
The 16-inch 2K screen looks great overall, but brightness is the one area that could be better. Indoors it’s fine, but in bright rooms or near windows it can feel a little dim. Not a deal breaker, but definitely noticeable.
Storage & Build
The 512GB SSD is fast and gives plenty of room for files, programs, and projects. Boot times are quick and everything loads clean. The Meteor Silver finish looks clean and professional and the build feels solid.
Battery & Everyday Use
Battery life easily gets me through a full workday with mixed use. It’s become my daily driver for business tasks, writing, and light design work without any issues.
Final Verdict
This is a powerful, reliable 2-in-1 that delivers where it matters: speed, multitasking, and versatility. The only downside is the screen brightness, but everything else more than makes up for it.
If you want a large, responsive touchscreen laptop that can handle real work without slowing you down, this one is worth it.
