Great computer, still learning all these amazing features , Glad I upgraded my old computer system

This computer is very fast. It’s light as well. Enjoying it so far.

The all-metal build does feel very good and for under $400 open-box+excellent it's good value .. but some aspects highlighted by Ad-like sounding reviews need to be highlighted 1. the speakers are *not* located left/right of the keyboard; those are fake speaker grilles. The speakers are behind the touch rest and the sound comes out of 2 small slits facing the users - for usable sound the laptop will need to be placed on a hard surface (i.e. won't work if you're holding it on your lap or any non-hard surface). 2. sound can be loud enough but still tinny. "spatial audio" is a gimmick when you have small speakers that don't even face the user. Sound quality (stereo separation, clarity, "fullness") is light years away from Asus Zephyrus G16, G14 + MBP 14 devices I own. It might be good enough for a Zoom conference but nowhere near enough for music listening or music watching - it torpedoes the "immersive-ness". 3. Integrated graphics do *not* come with dedicated 8GB. those are "up to 8GB of RAM" that come from the meager 16GB of total RAM available. 4. Windows OS/x64 eats battery for breakfast; significantly higher standby battery drain than Windows/Arm for a Snapdragon Omni 5 16 that I own 5. battery longevity - it's not possible to limit the max battery charge to 80% to prolong its longevity. The "Adaptive battery" thingie does not work well enough for me. Again - HP thinking that they know better what the user wants. 6. spare part access - unlike Lenovo, it's very hard to locate and source such items. Bad for the "right to repair", the device's longevity and the planet 7. Display is glossy and reflections are handled less well than on Apple devices. Distracting light bleed/non-uniformity in my unit - an issue for dark scenes. Colors seem muted - color space coverage seems deficient.

We absolutely love this laptop. Its touchscreen and doubles as a tablet which is perfect for just about any work or educational purpose.

It's been really nice having a laptop thay works well and is affordable. Best Buy was the only store that had it on sale. Best Buy definitely has the best prices and it was an easy simple purchase on line and had it ready for pick up in 30 minutes!!

Nice entry laptop. Screen was good but a bit larger than I needed for the physical space, so I ended up returning this one. But it worked well.

Nice specs, bright screen, power efficient so the battery will last. Turns easily into the tablet mode

Definitely perfect for my needs. Used it for studying and creating packet tracer labs. Also still able to play games on it.
