I bought this to upgrade to windows 11. My monster desktop runs Win 10 but is what is use as my music production brain. Thankfully I got another year to upgrade. I am so happy with this purchase I went and bought 2 more as my middle school grandkids gave it a 10 thumbs up. Madison, the oldest is a content creator and gained 1k followers after her drawings came to life. the pen ruled the day. Battery life is great. Multi tasking a breeze. worth every penny. being a musician and composer, I have always had my computers custom built. I digress, this powerhouse is a work horse and the build is solid as a rock. the Grandkids were gifted the other 2. we all use the AI features so were ahead of the curve.

I was excited to get my hands on the Omnibook X Flip 16, a 16-inch touchscreen laptop that also flips into a tablet. It's one of the new AI PCs, that has built-in AI tools to help with things like writing, organizing, and analysis. I put it to work with a variety of productivity tasks and entertainment. The Omnibook X Flip showed little weakness, HP did a great job here! *Design and Build* Right from the start, this laptop's build feels premium. It’s got a dark gray metal body that looks clean, weighs about 4 pounds and is a little more than half an inch thick. Even with a 16" screen it’s still pretty slim and not too heavy. The 360 degree hinge lets you fold the screen all the way around, so you can use it like a regular laptop, flip it into tent mode to stream videos or watch movies, or even turn it into a tablet with a touchscreen. Typing on the keyboard is a smooth experience. The keys are big and easy to see thanks to the backlighting (a few customizations on backlighting too), and feel great with satisfying feedback and a smooth click. The trackpad is large and responsive too. There are several ports to choose from which is nice considering all of the peripherals I use: (2) USB-A 10Gbps ports, (2) USB-C ports (one with Thunderbolt 4 at 40Gbps and one at 10Gbps), an HDMI 2.1 port, and a headphone/mic jack. It is missing a media slot if you are a photographer. The webcam does a great job for video calls. You can set it as high as 1080p, and even 4K if you are recording videos. It has a physical privacy shutter and supports facial recognition, which makes logging in fast. The camera can track your face and blur the background, which is great when I’m in video meetings. There is a significant amount of customization for video calls. Overall, the design and feel is premium. *Specs and Features* This laptop comes with an impressive hardware suite. An Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, which is part of Intel’s lineup focused on performance and AI capabilities. It has a separate NPU that can handle certain AI tasks without using the cloud. The laptop also comes with 16GB of LPDDR5x memory, which helps with multitasking and opening several apps at once. The 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD is quick when loading apps or opening files, and there’s plenty of space for storage. It uses Intel Arc integrated graphics, which are better than your typical built-in GPU. It won’t replace a gaming laptop, but it’s good enough to play some casual games and handle creative tasks like video editing or digital art. The Arc graphics also handled creative suites with no problems. There’s a dedicated key to launch AI tools, along with the usual media keys and an emoji key. The 16-inch 2K touchscreen (1920x1200) is vibrant, responsive and is approximately 400 nits. The screen is glossy, which makes colors pop and movies look great indoors, but can be more reflective outside if you plan on taking it out in the sun. It also supports a stylus, unfortunately you will have to buy the style/pen separate. *Software* The camera has extra features like HP Enhanced Lighting and HP Camera Control, which help make video calls look better. There were a couple of preinstalled apps I didn’t need, like antivirus trial software, but those were easy to remove. *Performance* This laptop runs really smooth. I can have a ton of tabs open, listen to music, and work on creative suites at the same time without lag. The CPU, NPU, and memory do a great job handling multitasking. I tested a few light games on medium settings and they ran well. It’s not made for heavy gaming, but it’s good enough for casual gaming and creative work. The laptop stays cool most of the time, and the fans only spin up when doing something more intense like video editing. Even then, it’s not too loud and it's definitely safe for your lap. These new Intel Ultra processors are very efficient but also run very cool. Battery life is solid and HP claims more than 20 hours but that depends on what you're doing. I'm getting about 15 to 20 hours on a charge with regular use. That covers a full day for me. It also charges quickly, about half a charge in 30 minutes, which is great if you’re in a rush. *Pros and Cons* Pros: Strong build and premium design Big, bright 16" 2K touchscreen Powerful CPU & NPU for AI Long lasting Battery Comfortable keyboard and large trackpad Fast ports *Suggestions/Needs Improvement* Speakers are average No Pen/Stylus After spending time with the HP OmniBook X Flip 16, I can say it’s a great all-around laptop. It’s fast, it's efficient, it's powerful, and it looks great. The 2K screen is perfect for work and entertainment, and the fact that it folds into different modes makes it even more useful. I’d recommend the HP OmniBook X Flip 16 to students, work professionals, or those looking for a versatile laptop with AI features/capability.

HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 Copilot PC – My Experience I’ve been using this laptop for a bit and honestly, I’m impressed. The build feels solid and premium, and the 2-in-1 design is super handy—I switch between laptop and tablet mode all the time. The touchscreen is bright, sharp, and really responsive. Using the stylus feels smooth, though the screen can get a little reflective in bright light. Performance has been great—fast boot-up, smooth multitasking, and no lag even with a bunch of tabs and apps open. Battery life is just okay (about 7 hours for me), and the fan can get noticeable under load, but nothing too crazy. The keyboard is different (flat keys instead of the usual raised ones), but I got used to it quickly. Overall, I think it’s a great pick if you want a single device that works for school, work, and entertainment. Definitely worth it—especially if you catch it on sale. Pros: sleek build, responsive touchscreen, fast performance, versatile 2-in-1 design Cons: average battery life, reflective screen, keyboard style not for everyone.

After years of being loyal to my iMac, I finally made the switch to an HP laptop and I’m honestly glad I did. My old iMac was fine for a while, but it started to feel outdated and limited. I wanted something more flexible, portable, and practical for how I actually work. I wasn’t sure what to expect going back to Windows after so many years, but this HP laptop completely surprised me in the best way. The first thing I noticed was how solid it feels. It has that sturdy, confident build that makes you want to pick it up and use it anywhere without worrying about damaging it. The hinge is firm but smooth, and the way the screen flips all the way around into tablet mode is a game changer. I use it in laptop mode when I’m working, then flip it into tablet mode when I’m reading, browsing, or showing something to a client. The touchscreen is responsive, accurate, and makes everyday tasks feel more natural. It’s the kind of feature I didn’t know I needed until I had it. Performance-wise, this HP runs great. I use it for real estate work, emails, photo editing, video calls, and a bunch of browser tabs open at once, and it handles all of it without lag. Apps open fast, multitasking is smooth, and it stays quiet even when I’m pushing it a bit. The battery lasts through most of my workday, which means fewer times scrambling for an outlet between meetings. Switching from Mac to Windows felt like a big leap at first, but I actually like Windows better now. Windows 11 has come a long way. It feels modern, fast, and personal. I like that I can customize things to fit how I work instead of being locked into Apple’s way of doing everything. The new Snap layouts make multitasking easier, Windows Hello login is instant, and everything feels more intuitive than I expected. I can organize my desktop, connect to whatever devices I want, and use real software without worrying about compatibility issues. The screen quality is also impressive. It’s sharp, bright, and the colors are accurate, which is great for editing photos or watching videos. The speakers surprised me too. They’re clear, full, and loud enough that I don’t always need to grab headphones or an external speaker for calls or music. It’s one of those small details that adds up when you’re using it all day. Another big plus for me has been HP’s customer support. I’ve had good experiences with HP in the past, and that hasn’t changed. They’re easy to reach, quick to respond, and actually helpful, which you can’t say about every tech company these days. It’s nice knowing that if something goes wrong, I won’t be stuck in a maze of automated messages and endless hold music. Everyday use has been smooth and reliable. The keyboard feels great to type on with just the right amount of feedback, and the trackpad is accurate and consistent. I also like that HP didn’t sacrifice ports for the sake of “minimalism.” I can plug in what I need without buying a handful of adapters. USB, HDMI, SD card, it’s all there. Coming from Apple, that’s a big relief. What I’ve come to appreciate most is how this laptop adapts to what I need. Whether I’m working on spreadsheets, jumping on Zoom calls, or flipping it into tablet mode to show clients property photos, it fits every situation. It feels like a tool built for real life, not just for a sleek marketing photo. If you’re on the fence about switching from a Mac to Windows, this HP makes it easy. It’s solid, fast, flexible, and actually fun to use. It feels more personal and capable, like something made for people who want to get things done rather than just look cool doing it. I can confidently say this was the right move for me, and I’d buy it again without hesitation. Five stars all day.

I’ve been really impressed with the HP OmniBook X Flip 16. The screen alone blew me away—it’s big, bright, and super smooth, which makes everything from movies to work look amazing. I love how sturdy and premium it feels, and the fact that I can flip it around into tablet mode or prop it up in tent mode just makes it so much more fun and versatile. Performance has been great too—it runs fast, handles multitasking easily, and the battery lasts long enough to get me through a full day without worrying. Honestly, it feels like a perfect mix of style, power, and flexibility, and I’m really happy with it.

This laptop was a recommendation from someone, now I'm not going to tell you this is the best bang for Buck laptop out there. This laptop cost $1,000 and it's on sale or is always on sale for almost half its own MSRP, this laptop has an Intel ultra i7 series 2 for its price of 600-700 bucks and having only 1 TB of storage I would absolutely buy it. It is a fully metal device made out of aluminum. It is very sturdy. It has its own cooling which needs some work but overall it can handle its own heat, The speakers on it are okay. They're not going to blow you out of the water but they are loud enough so that way you can hear at least for my ears. I can hear them in any orientation whether it be in tablet, tent or table top, for an inside story, I am coming from the HP victus that is basically at the same price, but I had a 3050 graphics card in that PC. The laptop had a Intel core i3 or i5 which eats your battery which is you have to be plugged in all the time for certain gaming laptops which I don't like with this laptop. Its Intel ultra i7 series 2. Can do some gaming on it. It absolutely can be gameed on even with different titles. My laptop testing is simple. I have Xbox so I get all the Doom games. If you cannot pass all Doom titles, you're not a laptop to basically game on I have tried Doom 2016 Doom the dark age. It passed all three with a big hiccups on dark ages. It is very slow sluggish frame rates drop Doom the dark ages is a new game and i should say a demanding game that will really put your CPU to The test, it's about 10 to 30 frames on its 60 frame settings. But overall it looked good and can run. If your laptop or CPU cannot handle by itself cyberpunk 2077 or any Doom title, you have a problem. And for the i7 ultra to handle Doom and Doom eternal and start up and play Doom the dark ages minus the frame rates and sluggish gameplay it's a solid pick for me. I will be getting just Intel base CPUs now because of it. Hp has got something really good going with this laptop. Oh and for people that are buying this laptop and wanting to get a 4 TB or 8 TB SSD get it bro. It's worth it. The motherboard on this particular laptop for the army book series rocking any Intel ultra i5 i7 and i9. Chipset has a motherboard that can do nvme SSD Gen 5. I purchased my gen 5 drive from Best buy and with Samsung so I have the 9100 and it is a 4 TB which I still have and it ran very smoothly fast and it was really great. If you're going to get this laptop and going to future proof it it is worth it for its price and its availability along with any Gen 5 SSD out on the market now, I am going to warn you. It cannot play every single game that is out in the market. It cannot run games that are from Doom going forward Doom the dark ages. I apologize. Going forward without a dedicated graphics card it can do anything from Doom. The dark ages backwards and it is a real enjoyable fluid. 60 frames per second experience. Give it a try! Don't knock it till you buy it
