Incredible device with good design and quality of materials. I love the screen-to-body ratio and colors on this screen. Only problem I have is - the reflections on high light environments, you literally see yourself more than the contents in screen. I wish companies would stop this 1 in 2 madness and make normal laptops. Who needs to flip 16 inch laptop and use touchcreen anyways.

The HP OmniBook X Flip 16 has blown my mind. Quite honestly laptops have continued to become innovative but some of the innovations in this laptop are things that I did not even know were possible. This will most likely become my primary machine when it comes to productivity.
Design
The design of this laptop hybrid is what makes it something spectacular. First and foremost, it is the size of it. It is amazing that HP was able to pack a 16-inch screen into such a small package. The body is just over half an inch thick, and it feels extremely premium. I believe the body is made from both metals and possibly some plastic. However, it all feels metal and premium. The weight comes in just over 4 pounds and is easy to hold and move around with.
The trick of this laptop is that it has a flip design, allowing the screen to flip around to the back and become tablet. That’s right, the 16-inch screen is touch capacitive and you can flip the keyboard around turning this into a large tablet.
The screen is a beautiful 16-inch 3K OLED screen. This screen is bright and beautiful. It has deep contrast in the colors and is way more than what is needed on something this portable. This is something that is not seen on most laptops of this size. I have used other 16-inch laptops, and they did not include screens as great as this one.
If I have one negative thing to say it would be the keyboard. The keys are very close together and not spaced out like most modern keyboards. That being said, I am typing this review on it and have not had any issues.
Ports
Sometimes when manufacturers create something so portable, they leave out important ports used for peripherals. The OmniBook has 2 USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports. This means you do not need to carry extra dongles. It can connect everything you need whether it’s old or newer. It also includes an HDMI port for times when you want to plug it in to an external monitor or TV. It also includes a 3.5 mm-speaker port which is great for plugging in external speakers or microphones.
Performance
When I say HP did not spare anything when making this laptop, they really didn’t. The performance specs are possibly some of the most impressive. The OmniBook includes an intel i9 CPU, 32Gb of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. Even a lot of the gaming laptops I have did not include that large of an SSD. This laptop comes with everything you will need for a very long time. You will not have to worry about the specs becoming outdated anytime soon.
With these specs in mind, this laptop can do anything you want from everyday tasks, gaming, and creativity. This PC is built around AI, and the possibilities are endless when it comes to creating things through AI.
Upgradability
I did not take apart this laptop to see what the inside looked like. However, my guess would be that it is not very upgradable. However, this will not be an issue with this laptop since it already includes such high components. There is nothing I would change. It has plenty of RAM, and the SSD is large enough to do anything you need. If you really need more storage there Is always the option of an external SSD or cloud-based storage.
Conclusion
This laptop hybrid is something like I have never seen before. The specs before I opened it really impressed me. After using it for about a week now it does not disappoint. The portability, high performance, and exceptional design allow you to do anything you want with it. I believe this is the perfect laptop if you want something that is great at everything.

I'm really liking how much memory there is and how fast the laptop works.. It's very quiet.. I was hoping the Microsoft Wod and Excel programs would be included without having to activate them, but I'm using OneNote, and it's doing what I need it to do, for now!

The HP OmniBook X Flip has been a great transition from an older HP Envy. It has made it easier to compose documents & to "play" with & organize photos which had been difficult before. And, the added ability to watch streams on the X Flip give us an extra screen in the house.

Excellent laptop for the price i paid, i like the keyboard layout, touchscreen experience and screen clarity. I choose 32GB SSD as i do not close browsers and it is working great with so many browsers and applications open

This laptop is impressive in every way. It’s sleek, durable, and delivers powerful performance without lag. The display is bright and sharp, perfect for work or entertainment. Battery life lasts all day, and the keyboard and trackpad are smooth and comfortable. A great balance of power, style, and portability.

I love my new HP Omni book Not only did I purchase it when I needed. I could not wait for a sale, But when it did go on sale 2 weeks later I went on line and simply noted the price drop and they gave me the new price saving me roughly 450.00. It was easy.
