Missing peripherals and no customer support
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this item, and there was only a desktop in the box. No keyboard, mouse, cables, or manuals. I called Best Buy customer service three times, but they didn't respond until after the return window closed. This experience leads me to never order a product from Best Buy again. The desktop met expectations, although I don't believe the product description for what's included in the box.

Good overall, priced a bit high.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP - OmniDesk Desktop - Intel Core Ultra 7 - 16GB DDR5 Memory - 1TB SSD - Dark Wood The HP OmniDesk Desktop is a nice-looking mid-grade desktop computer. It comes with a nice wireless keyboard and mouse. The front of the computer has a fake wood finish making it a little nicer than an ordinary desktop computer. Processor speed is quite good and runs Windows 11 very well. Expansion is limited as there is only 1 PCIe x16 and 1 PCIe x1 slot available. There is also 1 empty ram slot available. The motherboard has 2 SATA ports but no full-size power is supplied. There is an ODD SATA power connector, but no cable supplied, and no cutout in the case for an ODD. There is a 4 pin 12/5 VDC jack on the motherboard, possibly for the addition of power for SATA devices (additional HDD?) but again, no adapter cable to use this connection. The graphics are supplied by the CPU, with the empty PCIe x16 slot available you might think you could upgrade the video card. Be aware that there is not enough power, and NO power cables to be able to do this. The power supply is only 280 watts and is proprietary to the motherboard. The price point for this machine is a bit on the high side seeing as how upgrades are pretty much out of the question. Is has a 1TB NVME SSD that is fast enough for most situations. The speed of this drive is below what I would consider right for a PCIe 4.0 x 4. Read speed about 5048 MB/s and write speeds of about 3653 MB/s. A true PCIs 4.0 x 4 speed should be closer to 7200 MB/s read with write speeds about 6800MB/s. The computer responds well after the initial start-up time of 35 minutes. It seems to install the new 24H2 version of Windows 11 at first start-up. It also then had another 45 minutes of updates to do. I did nothing while the updates were being done, I just let it finish them and then started working with it. It has a full array of USB ports, A and C. It has 1 HDMI and 1 Display port for video. There is a headset jack in the front as well as standard audio in and out jacks on the back of the case. The cooling capacity of the case is also very limited. It has a small 60mm fan in the power supply and only 1 other 80mm fan that’s attached to the CPU heatsink. Think of the old, in box included heatsink that used to come with a P4, that’s what it looks like. The CPU heatsink is covered in a shroud that pulls the air from the case and directs it out the back “fan” opening where there should be a fan but none is installed. My bottom line. The processor is a good Core Ultra 7 265 with plenty of speed and even AI if you have something that needs it. The ram is only 16 Gigs but has an empty slot to upgrade that if you see fit. With the power supply so limited any upgrades other that 1 stick of ram and maybe an add in card that doesn’t require additional power is about all you’ll be able to do. The processor runs at 2.4 GHz base with it topping out about 5 GHz. While testing I saw 4.2 GHz all the time without a sweat.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have told lots of people DO NOT buy any computers from you....absolutely no training or help on ones that are newer then 2018. And when i asked if all my items on my old one would be transfered to the new ,they says yes ,THAT IS NOT TRUE, I had to pay someone from your store to come up and get one one of my programs loaded and i still had to spend 4 hours with Intuit to get it right. Your a rip off. Can't just make a phone call and talk to someone at the portland store.Really bad customer service..I will spread the bad news to everyone.
