Great Gaming laptop just purchases on sale for only $599 only down side right now is the hinge on the laptop creeks and sounds cheap. As a affordable gaming laptop works great.

I bought this laptop and got it the same day. It downloaded Fortnite so fast and when I got in the game I averaged 160-170 frames. I really think this is a great laptop to start off with

the screen is very hard to look at. it must be a fixed point looking directly at it. other than the screen it's not bad. You can't change the color of the keys as well.

Got this at the 449.99 price and for the money it's incredible. The Only gripes I have are the trackpad is merely "okay" nothing wrong with it but I've used better, that and the Wifi module isn't the greatest but that can easily be replaced. The screen is also TN but isn't awful. Things to note, You can easily thow a second stick of ram in the machine and a 2.5" hard drive or SSD to go along with the included NVME drive. If you are handy I also had success enabling adaptive sync on the built in display and also pushed the refresh rate a bit, ended up with a 30-72 freesync range!

Well the screen already has a line across it and I've only had it a couple years. So I'm very upset and unhappy with Best Credit as well for terrible service.

Not great if needing to use additional monitor.

Let me start off by noting that the Black Friday $450 sale for this laptop provides tremendous value. However, here's where the laptop was problematic in my specific use case: I was looking to use this as more of a productivity machine versus purely gaming, and needed to use an external monitor. 1.) AMD graphics adapter only controls/connects to the built-in 15" laptop screen, while the HDMI out is purely driven by the GTX 1650. So if you're using a 2nd monitor, both graphics devices must be in use simultaneously. You can disable AMD graphics device through device manager, but you lose the ability to control the built-in display (ex. brightness dimming, color calibration etc.). You can disable Nvidia graphics device, but then HDMI out stops working. If you are attempting to run off battery and connect to 2nd display, the use of both graphics devices will drain battery faster. If you are plugged in but still using a 2nd display, your system heats up more due to both graphics devices being used. So fans kick in often. AMD integrated graphics uses a portion of RAM. So if you're looking for a performance boost, you can disable AMD device but again you lose the ability to control brightness and image quality on the built in screen. The GTX 1650 (specifically Nvidia control panel/settings) cannot control or color calibrate the built-in display. In fact, the built in display doesn't even show up under the Nvidia control panel and only shows in Windows display settings or AMD Radeon settings. 2.) HP drivers. I tried to update drivers directly through the HP website using their auto-detect tools. Most of their driver update exe. files would run, but eventually end with "file location not found." Instead, had to update drivers directly through Windows device manager. This can eventually cause system conflicts down the road. Nonetheless, this still a great laptop if you're only using the built-in display. But I can only give it a 2 star "Fair" rating.

Just picked it up today on black friday, freezing myself to death standing in line. And what do you know? Dead on arrival. Plugged it in, turned it on. Power button lights up, fans turn on, screen stays off, no lights blinking on the driver lights. Also keyboard doesn't light up. So happy I stood in line for this broken mess.
