This laptop is a tragedy because it runs so well but the screen is so bad. They skimped on the screen quality in order to exaggerate the Black Friday discount, and they seem to have used the cheapest possible TN panels imaginable. I don't mind TN panels as long as they're bright (I'm typing this on one now), but these are BAD. The whites look yellowish, the blacks look grayish, and the viewing angles are terrible. It gives me a migraine. I tried monkeying around with color profiles and the AMD settings and improved things a little bit, but ultimately it still looks substandard even compared to my 8-year-old Thinkpad's TN panel. I would have gladly paid another $75 on top of the discount price for a standard 60hz IPS, and this laptop would have been nearly perfect. It is possible to upgrade the screen yourself, but you should only try this if you know exactly what you're doing. Buying a laptop screen from a third party is always a gamble, and the way this laptop was constructed complicates things a bit more than usual. These screens are not held in place with screws. Instead they use something called stretch release tape, which you will have to replace because it isn't reusable. As of this writing, as far as I can tell there is currently no way for a normal person to buy this anywhere. Two other minor cons that I would have gladly overlooked if this had had a decent screen: (1) it comes with a lot of bloatware and (2) there are only two USB ports and one USB-C port that doesn't have charging capabilities. I'm still giving this two stars because this might still be a great value to you if it's around its Black Friday price ($450) AND at least one of the following things is true: 1. You're planning to leave it hooked up to an external monitor or a TV and not use it as a laptop at all. 2. You're getting it for a kid 3. You're one of those people who just isn't sensitive to color. For someone like me who was planning to use this as my main general purpose laptop in addition to a gaming machine, you might want to just save your money and pay a bit more for something better.

This meets all of my son's gaming needs. It is his first experience with a gaming computer and it has been fastastic. Love how the keyboard feels and responds.

This laptop is able to play a very good library of games and able to run them well, the only reason I give it 4 stars is unfortunately due to battery life as it dies very fast when you play games at its best performance

Great value for the money, I used this for several days prior to returning it, I simply needed something more portable, I was amazed at how good for the money this laptop was, the LCD was not the best nor the design aesthetics but it delivered plenty of power. the Ryzen 5 processor destroys many I7 and even I9 desktop processors by cinebench measures. If you're looking for a desktop replacement workhorse that can handle heavy tasks then this is perfect and it can also play most of the latest games on high or max settings.

Very happy with this purchase. Unbeatable value and great specs. Upgradeable and good looking. Great keyboard feel. Cons: Screen is a bit dim but its fine if you max the brightness.

Great value for the price. Not the fastest laptop on the market but it will run most games on medium setting relatively well. Had the capacity to add RAM and a larger SSD if needed.

I’ve used it a little bit for a month now. That ryzen cpu is amazing. I got it during Black Friday and got a great deal. It’s still a great laptop running new games at high FPS.

This was for my wife to play her video game things. She likes it. Plays much better than her other laptop. She also likes green a lot so the keyboard is pretty cool.

It is a very good gaming laptop with great CPU and performance. I bought it on Black Friday and it was only $449. It's screen resolution is great. The applications run smoothly.

It is a great product and it runs Minecraft very very smoothly, but I think a bit more RAM and a longer battery life would be better. With what I am doing the battery lasts 1.5 hours not the 5 they said.

Great laptop at an even better price. My 6 year old had been begging for a gaming laptop and I didnt want to break the bank and this was perfect. He can play all the games he wants with no problem.

It's a powerful laptop. The ryzen 5 3rd generation is more powerful than intel i5 10th. If you want to a good performance gaming laptop, this one is for you.

Getting this laptop for only $450 was a steal! The performance of this laptop is comparable to an intel laptop, which was around twice the price. I would highly recommend that you get this laptop if it goes back on sale. The only negative thing about this laptop is the limited storage, but that can be easily solved if you get an external SSD hard drive with 1 terabyte of storage. The laptop can run games like GTA 5 with high settings and get around 60-80 fps.

Picked this up on black Friday, for the price it's a good gaming machine. The screen it's the greatest, but when used with a 144hz my monitor it will play most games with out an issue.

Reasonably good battery life for a gaming laptop. USC-C is data only, will not run HDMI. Screen is not IPS. But, a nice machine, with tolerable heat, good CPU, discrete video, etc.

I bought this laptop primarily for some online courses I’m taking but also wanted something I could have fun with while I’m not doing my courses. Laptop is pretty snappy and runs smoothly. I haven’t done any intense gaming on it yet so I can’t say exactly how it will fair but I’m confident it will serve its purpose well. Is it a $2000 gaming PC? No. Is it an affordable gaming laptop that serves its purpose well? Absolutely. I would feel confident recommending this laptop to anyone who wants a snappy laptop that can be used for work or school and fun on the side.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, so no AAA titles, but every game I do play runs amazing. Valheim, Pasmophobia, and Raft on Steam run beautifully at whatever settings I set them to. No overheating, gorgeous graphics, and everthing works as advertised. My only complaint is that the battery never seems to last longer than a couple hours. Even just surfing the internet it only lasts 3 hours. Still, i only use it at home, so it's usually plugged in. I have owned it for over 6 months now, and it is still impressively good.

I haven’t had a single issue with this computer. I bought this laptop because of the insanely low price during the Black Friday sale, but it doesn’t run like a budget computer at all. It runs games better than my 4 year old $1500 desktop. I did buy a laptop stand to keep it elevated during game play so I’m not sure if it would overheat without that, but with the stand it doesn’t even need to run the fans at full speed most of the time. I’m so happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced gaming laptop.

Amazing Value Laptop. Purchased on Black Friday. Ran all the games I wanted and much cheaper than the alternatives. No bloatware.
