Got this laptop on sale for $450. At that price for a Ryzen 5 and GTX 1650 is a great deal. Screen is a TN panel and the colors are fine after some calibration. For those who must have a IPS panel, you're not going to find one at this pricing point. 2 ram slots and 1 is occupied by a 1gb dd4 stick. Keyboard is back lid with green light and cannot be changed. The keyboard itself is probably the weakest part. The area around the keys sink down if you press too hard and the keys can get stuck on the edges. Hard to explain, have you feel it yourself to understand. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Overall performance is awesome, can run most older games on max settings and newer games on minimum. Only issue I had which took me a few days to figure out a fix along with contacting Microsoft 4 times is that when resetting the laptop it ran into an error that kept corrupting the OS. Ended up having to reinstall from a USB drive to fix it completely. Other than that, the only other thing this laptop lacks is hard drive space, which I know it's only a 256 GB SSD, I just dont have the experience to open the laptop up and put a 1 TB drive into it and I cant seem to find any tutorials online.

Great laptop when i got it in thanksgiving for 450$. at that price, I don't think you will get a better laptop. The screen although is not that great. Based on some viewing angles, the colors become white almost. But minor adjustments and calibration plus tilting your screen fixes it. I mostly use this with a monitor and is a pleasure to use. It does not heat up much under most of the esports title games I play. Even on stressful tasks, you can barely feel the heat from this laptop. I thought it would be bulky, but although it looks big it is pretty light to hold. It is made of plastic but has matte like finish which is nice. Might attract some fingerprints but nothing too crazy. The keyboard is good to use, but the trackpad is not the greatest (i come from a macbook pro , hp spectre and thinkpad, so I might have too much expectations). It has a usb-c but the it cannot connect to a monitor through the port as far as I have tried. But it has hdmi port separately for monitors and you can use the usb -c for your hub (which might be minor inconvenience since i have an usb hub with all the ports I need and I end up attaching the hdmi directly to the laptop everytime I switch between a macbook to this laptop). The charger is allegedly one of the best that comes with the laptop, but some games become choppy if the laptop is not plugged in.(maybe due to lack of battery charge ?). Battery on normal use case lasts 8 hours probably, but I use it heavily with games and watching videos so I have no tested this extensively. But overall a great laptop to snag if you get it for 450 - 600. The best part though is you can add another ram with the extra ram slot and a 2.5 inch ssd/hdd bay which is super good. So you can easily make this laptop have another 1tb and 16gig or 32 gig ram easily. The ram is 3200 mhz with cas 22(but does not support XMP because of the ryzen processor so make sure it is a normal ram, the stock ram is the samsung one for 8 gigs). I have played civ 6 extremely well in high settings , fifa 21 in medium, league and other esports titles in high.

Its hard get a laptop rite now..I use it for work.. pretty fast...no issues...the screen is ok..not so graphic...

Got this on a super sale before Christmas for $450. For the price, it's an awesome product. Superfast Ryzen 5 4600H processor and nice Graphics card! I change out the subpar cheap 256GB NVME for a premium faster 500GB and now even at 8GB of Ram, this is a beast! What a difference changing out the NVME drive would make. The existing one is slow. Just like in every computer they sell from the manufacturers. So go with the cheapest Drive and change it out yourself. You'll be a Champ for doing it!

Great entry level gaming laptop Add the extra ram if you can. I added 8gb for a total of 16gb It runs fast and is reliable!

Bought on sale and no other competitor had anything relatively close to these specs while being in the same price range. Purchased for a young teen who does a lot of gaming but doesn't need ultra-high settings. The specs perform well for the games he's played on it, CS GO, Overwatch, Skyrim, etc. He's only had it a few weeks, but he uses it all day/night and there isn't an over-heating problem that I usually see with these value gaming laptops. We'll see how long it lasts, but for now the performance and quality are worth the price.

This is a well-performed gaming laptop at a reasonable price. Most of games I play can be working smoothly.

Fantastic entry level unit, relatively cheap to upgrade too, after opening it up and seeing an open slot for an extra bay for more ram I added an additional 16gb of ddr4-3200mhz, and to my delight there is an open SATA bay that I added an additional 1tb SSD, the system runs smoothly without any issues, amazing value, great performance! Grab one while it's on sale!

As per pricewise, this is very good laptop for moderate and upper intermediate gamer. One drawback of this laptop is less storage. If you have external hard drive, so you can use that external hard drive for storage of your other games. Then it gives you more faster respond. If you play only 2 or 3 game, you don't need to any external hard drive. Overall pricewise, look wise, performance wise, It is very good gamming computer.

this laptop runs Sims 4 and Crusader Kings 3, and only lags if its low battery

So far this computer is exactly what I needed for my sons birthday present. Set up was easy and computer performance seems fine for what he’ll use it for. As some reviewers mentioned, the screen doesn’t look great unless you are right in front of it. For the price, I can deal with that. I wish the computer felt a little sturdier and less like plastic, but again, I didn’t pay a ton for this machine. I think it will be a great first laptop for my 11 year old and will perform well for his minor gaming/video needs.

My one complaint on this laptop is the TFT screen is lower quality than an IPS, but the GTX 1650 makes up for it. You have to pick and choose what you want out of laptops -- a nice screen, or some other nice spec like the video card here. Do some calibration in Windows, and it will improve a bit. This is one of the best budget laptops around for 2020.
