Fast and perfect for gaming. This was my first time trying out the AMD Ryzen. I've always used Intel but heard great things about the new AMD Ryzen series. It really met the expectation. The Nvidia GPU is so awesome that I can open up so many tabs for work and it won't freeze. I think 256GB is lil small for playing games but unless you play heck ton of different games, you will be fine.

It's not going to wow high end gamers, but for a very affordable entry level gaming laptop, it's quite good. My boys, ages 10 and 12, are infinitely happier gaming on it as opposed to the regular laptop they had been using. The video card is quite decent, especially at this price point. The laptop chassis itself has a fairly cheap look and feel to it, but my kids don't care. They're just happy they're no longer laggy in their games.

Excellent laptop. I searched through tons of black friday computer deals looking for the best balance between cost first and foremost, performance, and features such as lighted keyboard, and etc. This laptop had everything I pretty much was looking for minus a touch screen. I found out by reading the reviews here that I can upgrade this computers ram and add a 2.5 ssd drive in the empty covered bay. I have never opened up a computer before to upgrade it so this should be a fun little exercise.

I really like this laptop. I’ve had it for about a month now and it does exactly what I need. I run OBS and gameplay with additional setups and experience no issues. So far so good, but this was a solid purchase.

Got this for my father a year ago, its holding up fine. Word of advice, a cheaper gaming laptop is much better than a mid-ranged general use laptop overall. Laptops would typically last him a year, he uses them 8+ hours a day for general use and killing time in retirement. Got this on sale for a bit less than a mid-range general use laptop, very happy with it.

Great laptop! Upgraded from a 4 or 5 year old standard HP laptop and this thing shreds compared to it. Obviously it is like night and day but waiting to get this thing for $449 was a great move. Honestly I probably would have paid more. Not too critical due to it being my first mid tier laptop but definitely happy with it and glad I got to remain a loyal HP customer while moving into the PC Gaming space.

The build quality is not great but the insides are. So its a good laptop just don't drop it or game over.

bought this for on the go gaming and number crunching. the processor and gpu are worth it at this price. screen is pretty bad. keyboard is awful. TouchPad is awful. I use a real keyboard, mouse, and monitor and it works great. I've doubled the ram (there's an empty socket) and added an ssd (m.2 drive is stock). RJ45 port is truly welcome in the design.

Great value for the money (purchased during Black Friday 2020 for $450 pre-tax). The pros were graphic card, CPU, FHD screen (TN panel, but doesn't bother me). Also very easy to upgrade, for an extra $200, I have bumped mine up with aftermarket products to 32GB RAM and added extra 1TB SSD storage.
