I bought this computer for my wife. She had been using a 17 inch screen so that was a prime consideration. I also shopped for an i7 chip, but was not able to find a reasonably priced machine with that chip. I knew the i5 chip in this computer was a fast chip and knew the hard drive was more than adequate. I placed the order, delivery was faster than promised and setup was a snap. I hit a home run with this computer. My wife loves it! It is an excellent computer for the price.

Grandson is a pretty busy Senior in high school. He is not only Executive Officer of his USMC ROTC Battalion, taking some college college classes, shows his cattle, he also works part-time at vet clinic. So he needed a dependable laptop with larger screen,with adequate memory. I reviewed several laptops before settling on this one. He immediately liked the it and feels comfortable with it. He is into a learning curve with the Windows 10. So far so good....no issues. I got him Geek Squad protection in event he does encounter problems while away at college later this coming year 2016.

Very good and fast computer. The only problem I have had so far is that it only has 4 gig of RAM. If you looking to do a lot of design, print or even games on this computer then would suggest that you add RAM.

This Laptop has largest screen and hard disk capacity is 1 TB. Enough to store large movies and watch it on big screen. Price is also competitive and no other laptop with these features would come in this price range.

I'm a senior, and have been using Apple products for over 8 years, before coming back to Windows. I love this computer. The size is great for seniors, but not good for traveling.

So far we love our new HP Pavillion 17" laptop. The screen size is just right (not too big, not too small) with great resolution and we love that the keyboard has a number keypad on the side. We primarily use it for Microsoft Business-type applications, and it runs fast! Very happy with our purchase.

Computer is a good basic laptop for most usage. The touchpad operation could be better: usage of multiple fingers to execute right clicks takes some getting used to. Windows 10 operating system is similar to Windows 7 for ease of use. However, the setup of the computer doesn't allow ease of use for dual boot configurations. It is possible to boot into another OS, but the user has to go through the UEFI configuration in order to get to the other OS, and that necessitates first booting into Windows.

Really like my new laptop. I needed something inexpensive but with great features. Wish the space bar was more prominent.

I needed a new laptop since my last one is 6 years old. I got my bachelor's degree with my Dell and wanted to upgrade to something better, faster, & bigger while working on my master's. So far the HP has lived up to everything it says. I have had HP desktops in the past but never a laptop. I like windows 10. The laptop itself is lightweight & sleek.

I've been using this HP for more than 2 months now and it's been working flawlessly. It's much better than the last HP laptop I bought. I really like the large screen and resolution. I was skeptical about using windows 10. But it's turned out to be awesome as well. Better than Win7. The speakers are really loud and nice quality, so I don't have to attach USB speakers anymore when watching videos. It's very light weight too, which was a bonus. AND it handily fits in my new "Mobile Edge Alienware Orion Carrying Case" (Model: Meawbp20) that I purchased a week ago. The USB ports are well made too. The fitting goes in nice and tight unlike my last HP Pavilion where one of the ports didn't work at all and another one was hit and miss on whether the connection would work or not. Oh, and the OS is fast too. I can easily run multiple apps without it slowing. And the OS seems to handle memory more efficiently so you don't have to reboot after having it running for days at a time.

I like the wider screen. Good compromise between PC and laptop. So far it meets my needs and is what I'd hoped for. Quality for the price.

Since i purchased this laptop it has been amazing all around. The memory, graphics, processor, just everything about it is spectacular. The speed on this is amazing. So much perfection crammed into such a perfect size computer (laptop). I am thinking of purchasing an identical one, good things are hard to come by and should not be passed up

Lighting fast, zero issues, vibrant screen! Highly recommend, no regrets! HD video playback flawless, easy to connect to WIFI. Makes my old desktop XP look like a dinosaur.

Since I took a trip just after purchasing this laptop (which I am using instead of a desktop) I have only used it minimally up to now. I have downloaded a couple of programs without any problems and have been happy with the download speed. Other than that, I have only used it for reading news, email and a little word processing and spreadsheet work - for which it has been fine.

Pros: Big screen and above average processing power. Cons: This is personal. I really wish most laptops are built with easier access to HDD and RAM for quick upgrades. This is fairly difficult to upgrade. I miss my Lenovo G510...Pop out the back cover and swap drive or RAM within minutes.

Good product at very reasonable price, I would highly recommend it for a starter or even an extra but machine that has a lot of memory and great speed.

Excellent for personal use. Streams video nice. Clear picture and very good sound for a laptop. Great for personal business,banking and bill paying. I use it for betting on horse racing and watching the races. No problems surfing the net and playing games. Not sure about more advanced games with accelerated graphics but I don't play them anyway.

Works well. Large screen is great for my work projects. Would be nice if keys were lit. Responsive and I like the Windows 10 os except that it is not compatible with my printer or my dragon microphone for dictation. Both have been recently purchased and no driver available for the products which I wish I'd have known prior to purchase.

This laptop is awesome. It is a little more bulky then I would have liked but it works out well since I like to play games on it the bigger screen makes the experience better. It runs a little slower than I would like but for the price it runs pretty fast. Definitely satisfied.
