needs to come w/ word or 360. now you have to buy more softwear for more than 100 dollars.. should have just bought a imac

I am new to windows 8, the only down sides are: not having the separate mouse click buttons and when you slide the mouse to the left the settings screen comes up.

Good Laptop. No frills which I wanted. Once you get rid of all the pre-installed bloatware, runs like a champ. Speakers sound great with the beats audio speakers

Actually, it's not a possum, but a laptop I purchased. It runs smoothly and it is easy to run too, considering I haven't had a computer since Windows Home or whatever old thing back in the early 2000s.

Faster than expected, good i5 chip in it; monitor is also much clearer and brighter than I was expecting. All good, except that the keyboard feels somewhat flimsy and sometimes needs a stronger touch.

I purchase HP laptops for their reliability. This PC will no doubt last as long as my previous laptops. It seems to be of good quality. What works really well is the audio speaker. It is located between the keyboard and screen from side to side. With the Beatsaudio equalizer for customized sound control I do not need external speakers. The best sounds from a nonmodified laptop you can have.

I like this, even the processor is not the latest one. Runs smoothly, but the touchpad is a little bit quirky.

I love this laptop, does everything I wanted to and more. Downloands CD, picture is great, my only con is the speaker, I think my iphone 6 speaker sounds better then the speaker on this laptop.

Took my wife's IMac for the Geek squad to check out and add as my second of 3 devices. Was told there was nothing wrong with it and it was working fine. Two days later I took the same computer to the Apple store in the mall, they cleaned it up and loaded the latest software. The computer now works like it should. As far as the HP I bought from Best Buy it is a great computer however I do not look forward to bringing it to the Geek Squad if something goes wrong,

I do recommend to anyone who is looking to get a great laptop for you money, great speed, great sound quality, great vivid picture, and a great price. Are you convinced yet? go get it now.

Good laptop for a reasonable price. Always trusted Hewlett Packard. Best Buy salesman was not that helpful, good thing my son knows what he needed.

Good glad I bought my computer they got a good deal and very helpful service. I actually got more than they asked for her and that was really nice.

The camera works well and is a nice change from my other Nikon. Does not have a view finder but the zoom is worth the exchange off. The color is beautiful and the book is informative.

The picture is great. Runs Photoshop with ease. The only problem is finding the bluetooth to connect

Very pleased with my decision to purchase the HP Pavilion 17" Laptop. Took awhile to get accustomed to Windows 8.1 but now all good.

This computer is wonderful for anyone. It is great for anyone to use for everyday use in the home office or to go to school online. It has everything you could want in a computer.

The speed isn't what I expected but thats probably the server not the computer so it works great.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife, that she is totally enjoying. It seems to be all that she needed in a computer for work and play.

This laptop has enough memory and just the right processing speed that my kids need to do homework or do anything they want. They can view videos or even play games with ease.
