We purchased the HP Pavilion 17.3 Laptop to replace an old Dell which was over 10 years old. We were looking for an entry-level basic laptop for an unsophisticated user. We wanted quicker boot up speed, wireless internet capability, and wireless printer capability. All at a reasonable price. Many machines are faster and have more features, but if you're looking for a basic "Chevrolet" this is it!

This is my 3 HP. I got a great deal on Best Buy deal of the day. I saved over 100.00. The computer is fast and so far works great. It multi task without any delays.

Love this new computer. It is a great desk top alternative. It is fairly easy to navigate through all the new features with the search bar at the bottom.

I purchased this computer for my niece and it's just enough for a kid her age. Plus, she loves it!

If you are a gamer, don't get this laptop. I'm not a gamer, so that's one of the reasons I purchased this laptop. Also, it has a 17" screen, and I watch a lot of Netflix, Amazon originals, and YouTube, so it's perfect for that. I do have a qualm with this laptop. On certain websites, my keyboard will act up, and it won't type correctly. It'll look something like this: "T hisp roduc ti sfault ysomet imes." So then I have to re-type it again, slowly. The speakers are incredible, though! B&O speakers are what this one comes with. My old HP pavilion from 2013 had horrible speakers. At 100%, I could hardly hear anything. With this laptop, I can have the volume at 23% and it's louder than my old on on full-blast!!! This is a quality I really enjoy about this laptop. Overall, this is a good buy for someone who just uses their laptop for watching movies/videos, social media, browsing the net, and for school (Microsoft Office use).

Good laptop with big screen for on-line and watching dvd's

I tried to repair my last laptop (flip top with screen cracked) but gave up and started a search for a replacement. My wants: 17" screen, numeric keypad, Windows 10 installed, 1 Tb hard drive, 8 gig memory, newer generation processor, reasonable price. This product met all of my "wants" so I bought it. Had it up and running in no time. Added all my old software and files without a hitch. Very satisfied. The only thing I have concern with is that there is no light to indicate the "Num Lock" key has been clicked on.

Great product for the price. Exceeded expectations and performance is much better than a similar computer in the same price range.
