Bought this laptop a few days ago. First thing I did was install 1 256GB Solid State Drive. Very fast, sound is great and Internet is fast. At this time highly recommended.

i7 Intel processor is great. I really didn't care about touch screen or back lit keys, but I still wanted an internal DVD drive, so this was the computer for me.

Adequate laptop but poor wifi range

The wifi range on this laptop is dismal at best. My range is about 1/2 of my old 10 year old Dell Inspiron. I have to use the laptop in the room where my router is otherwise connection is spotty. Other than that the laptop is adequate.

Wireless rarely works, Geeksquad could not help. It has an i7 but is somehow slower than my other laptop with an i3? I am going to find an enemy and give them this laptop

The HP Pav is great for general use-AT HOME. Because the mouse pad keys make a loud clicking noise, and there is NO way to turn it off, I would not recommend for classes, libraries, or any place that requires a noiseless atmosphere. After contacting HP they admit it cannot be fixed, though they did offer to send out a tech to look at it.

My last HP Pavilion laptop was the best... had it 5 years before a fall made it impossible to stay open. It wouldve cost 300 to fix and for another 200 i could just get a new one so thats what i did... and im completely disappointed... they said this would be nearly identical to the old one but nothing is the same.... this one feels cheaper, the sound system sucks, when playing a DVD the disc player itself is so loud its a distraction... the list goes on and on...ive been loyal to HP for years but this will be the last one i buy...

I bought this laptop to use when I go back to school. I have really enjoyed it. I'm not a big fan of windows 10, but that is no fault to this machine. Sound from the speakers is good. Movies play very well. Have not had any issues personally.

Bought in August. Didn't purchase the protection package because it was almost as much as the computer itself. First time I turned it on it wouldn't boot up. Within a month it started making beeping/chirping noises and wouldn't boot up on most times i tried to turn it on. Eventually quit all together. Sent back HP for a new hard drive. Got it back 2 weeks ago and it has started chirping again and having other software issues. Great BIG let down!
