Buy the extra warranty, get geek squad protection!

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved it at first, but really, really soon, as in a month or so after warranty expired it started giving me the "blue screen of death" Called HP, no help at all! Just an oh well type call. Then went to geek squad, they eventually figured it had to be hard drive. Signed up for their protection plan. Good thing! I've had either 3 or 4 visits to geek squad. Last visit they actually took it apart, check connections etc. In the end they said it was the motherboard, so here I am with a very expensive piece of crap. The two year anniversary was 3 days ago!
