Excellent value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this a few weeks ago when BB had it on sale, about $200 off. Excellent value for a great desktop without wires and an awesome screen. Many of the fears I had from negative reviews disappeared when I saw this at the store. While the keyboard is a little small, who cares? It works, and works well. My only complaint would be the usb ports. Rear accessibility is not great with such a large monitor, and those located at the bottom of the device are difficult to get to. My solution was to get a usb four port hub for $6.50, problem solved. I might have the same issue with the SD card slot, but I'll deal with that when/if I need to, in a similar fashion. Great specs for a PC in this price range!

Great Value With A Few Warts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My aging desktop (nearly 15 years old) finally quit so off to Best Buy for a replacement. Found this computer which just happened to be on sale which was a bonus. Operating specs are great, lots of memory, gigantic hard drive, has a DVD disk burner/drive and and a huge 23.8" display. No complaints on the operation or capacity of the computer. Admittedly I was not a fan of "All-in-one" computers, but it seems to be the way desktops are going these days, and also the setup is simplicity itself. My only complaints are: (1) the absolute cheapness of the keyboard and mouse; and (2) the placement of the USB ports, SD drive, as well as a few others. The keyboard and mouse that come with this computer are nothing more than cheap plastic trash. They even feel cheap and chintzy. I didn't use them more than about 10 minutes before they were replaced with an older very dependable Logitech keyboard and mouse which the computer recognized immediately thank you very much. The location of the ports on the back and bottom of the huge monitor lead me to wonder what the engineers were thinking when they designed it this way. There are several ports on the back of the display near the bottom - okay, not unexpected to find ports there on any computer. But the ones on the bottom of the display are just baffling. For instance, I can't even plug a USB 4gb thumb drive into this location because there is not enough room between the bottom of the display where the ports are located and my computer desk. This is a terrible design, especially when it seems these ports could have easily been put on the front of the display at the bottom which would have made it much easier to utilize them. Other than those two issues, I am very happy with the purchase and I still think its a good buy.

Terrible computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is poorly designed and loaded with programs that run in the background and slow the performance. The power switch is on the bottom of the monitor placed precisely where it is most convenient to grab hold if you need to move the monitor so that accidental shutdowns occur. USB ports are inconveniently placed on the bottom of the monitor as well as the back of the monitor making access awkward at best. Additionally, the USB ports placed on the back are positioned such that if there is more than one USB placed they are extremely difficult to remove because the are immediately beside each other. I returned the computer after less than one day. My six year old computer is still performs as good as this computer and the design of the old one is significantly more user friendly. This computer is a waste of money. I wouldn't even recommend this computer to an enemy.
