I really wanted to love this PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this PC as an open box item because a new one was not available to add to my cart. I thought it would be fine since it came with the Geek Squad seal of approval. I was wrong. First off the USB receiver for the wireless mouse and keyboard was still attached to machine upon unboxing, then one of the first boot up displays read that it was trying to diagnosis a problem. Turns out the problem was that the PC was completely unable to start correctly. I tried to restart, then I did a hard reset, then I did a trouble shoot refresh, then I tried a factory reset. Nothing. Every single time it restarted the exact same blue screen would come on the said : This PC did not start correctly. And then gave the option to restart or more advance options. I spent about 2 hours trying to just get this PC to turn on and no dice. I ended up taking it back to my local Best Buy. Fortunately it was a hassle free return, its just annoying to have to start the computer shopping all over again.

Inflated price, Poor Customer Service, Awful PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this computer back in December, but couldn't seem to get used to the Windows software since I am familiar with Apple products. I immediately boxed it up to return. It appears as though I am locked out of the pc due to "incorrect PIN and password" although I have entered the correct written down passwords. The PC does not load the internet browser, lags in speed, difficult to merely use as a PC. That is annoyance number 1. I call to see what my trade in value is for the computer being new in box and factory wiped. The guy on the phone states that this computer is worth $100. When I say to him "It is funny I can only get $100 for a product I paid $769 for, however you are now selling it for $569 on clearance or $523 out-of-box. Is there really that much mark up in your store?" and he chuckles and replies with "yea buddy, anything else I can help you with?" It amazes me that with all the money that I have spent at Best Buy seems to be a waste given the markup in products and the poor customer service by the staff. Each time I go in, I must track someone down for help and quite possibly be looked over just because I am younger, however with the 20+ staff that is working in one time frame should clearly be replaced by those who need a job with better work ethic. It is safe to say that I will NOT be giving Best Buy any more of my business due to incredible dissatisfaction, unprofessional mindsets and scheming to make more money than needed.

Kept Crashing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Graphics driver could not handle two programs running at once. Screen kept showing black and white triangles and then completely freezing. Alt cntrl del would not even work, had to unplug from the wall completely. Returned in the first day. This computer has the "bells and whistles" on paper, but it was very disappointing.

Hard Drive Died in 8 Months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the computer until at only 8 months, the hard drive died. I called Best Buy, who told me my options were to ship it myself to HP for repairs or bring it into Best Buy for repairs. I opted to bring it into Best Buy. They took the computer & called me a couple of hours later to tell me the hard drive had died (the computer already told me that), & that it would have to be shipped to HP for repairs. Best Buy told me on the phone that one option was to bring it to Best Buy for them to repair it--so why can't they repair it? They say it will take at least 2 weeks to get it back from HP. This computer is what I run my business on. On Amazon, it says HP has discontinued manufacturing the computer. Why can't Best Buy simply replace the computer with something comparable, since it is only 8 months old & DOA?

Nice looking all in one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this model three weeks ago. It worked for two weeks, shut down and couldn't get it to come on. Exchanged for same model, this one lasted one day and did the same thing....it will be going back and I will be looking into a different brand. I don't know if HP had a bad batch of these models or what.... very annoying...

Was ONLY Good for 6months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer in Nov 2015 and in May of 2016 this computer started shutting down by itself and won't come on. Called hp nothing, took it back to Best Buy where I bought it they got it fix, not even up to a week again back to same power issue. Now hp is sending me return label to try to fix the problem. I am so disappointed on hp!! I used to love hp brands.
