still having problems with video such as utube , get sound but no picture have talk to the geek people but it didn't solve the problem so I can't recommend this computer or the geeks

Turns off and on in the middle of operation, multiple times. Call best buy several times to no avail I wished we bought a mac. Can someone fix this please paid cash, help please...

I bought a pc, told her I never had wireless before, she said just take it home and plug it in, didn't work, was RUDE

Had the computer exactly one month before the hard drive crashed...doubt I'll back anytime soon.

I brought this for my 80 year young mom an she just loves it, it is so easy for her to use an play her games, email, the web, Skype. Now i am getting one for my family this computer is very fast an the picture is awesome very very clear. Does not hurt your eyes.

PC was very slow and would freeze up and loaded a tremendous amount of advertising, which I assume was pre-programed to do so and probably had something to do with the poor performance. The Best Buy rep said that this particular PC may have been a lemon, but I was not satisfied with that explanation and got no explanation as to why all these advertisments would load on every screen change, so now I am very hesitant to purchase another HP product at Best Buy

When I buy a new computer I expect it to be quick and responsive with very few crashes and reboots. after all I haven't had a chance to muck it up yet. I bought this computer as a less expensive alternative to a mac, which is what i've been using the last 5 years without complaint. Windows 8 was different but it's not too hard to get the knack of. My biggest complaint, and what's ultimately causing me to return this product , is the unreliability. I've owned this computer for 72 hours and already it's crashed and blue screened on me 3 times. I've had it go slow and have to stop and think over simple processes like opening an image in viewer. when I google the problem the blue screen tells me to, i get information about hardware issues. If a computer has hardware issues so bad it's crashing multiple times before you even install any programs on it, imagine once you've pushed it's harddrive to the max? that's why I'm giving this computer 2 stars. Other than that it's a 3.5. touch screen works beautifully, everything's easy to navigate, and the design is exquisitely streamlined and--well--mac like (;

Very steep learning curve! Recommend windows 7 not 8

Has everything you need at a great price. Similar computers are several hundred dollars more. I always had a desktop and liked the fact that I could upgrade it. This computer has so much no need to upgrade. I'm not a gamer or a graphic designer so this has everything. The only thing it didn't have was blutooth so i added it for $20. Touch screen works great. I don't love windows 8 but 8.1 isn't so bad.

I received the blue screen of death and I returned it and chose another vendors computer from best buy

I purchased a Toshiba laptop about six months ago from Best Buy. I hated it. Conveniently, I broke it and didn't even want to take the time, or spend the money, to get it fixed. Bought this one yesterday. Wish I had bought this first. Not portable like a laptop, but I've decided that's very little to give up for the incredible display, brilliant colors, ease of use, huge screen and great sound. This the first computer I've ever had that I actually have to turn sound down, not up all the way to hear anything. It's beautiful, I love it.

This PC was easy to set up, takes up very little room at my workstation and starts up fast. The Windows key on the keyboard makes it easy to get to the start menu and there was very little spam-ware that needed to be cleaned off the computer before I could begin using it. A free year of Office 365 was included.

Replacing my recently dead HP Windows 7 machine (hard drive crash). I've had it for only a few days, but it's working perfectly. Will take some time to get into the 8.1 features, but since I can bring up the win 7 style screen with which I'm most comfortable, all is fine. Still reinstalling my applications from old desktop. Screen is large, bright, and touchscreen works flawlessly. I was looking at this machine as well as a similar ASUS model, as I have an ASUS laptop that I'm happy with, but it had too many negative reviews for my liking, and my previous desktop is an HP that worked great for years till the hard drive crashed.
