The HP functions as needed and meets minimal expectations. I use it rarely and feel it meets needs.

However, as a business computer I needed this PC to be able to use the F1 - F12 keys. However, this PC (For some unknown reason) has the F1-F12 keys PERMANANTLY mapped to their "special functions" (i.e. volume up, down, etc). To be able to use the F1-F12 keys, you must hold down the "fn" key (which every other computer I've ever owned.. this is the exact opposite way it's worked). This is incredibly frustrating as I'm at work and press the function key that normally saves my work and instead it turns up the volume on my PC. I chatted with HP support online and they don't have a fix. That's awesome.

Were told there was absolutely nothing wrong with the computer. Not true!!!! Once we got the computer home we discovered the speakers did not work. Given the option of having the computer sent out for repairs or getting a new one. Duh.....opted for the new one. But of course that meant we had to leave it for a few days to that all the files from the first computer transferred to the newest one. What a hassle. Lesson learned - no more "open box" purchases!!!!!

Spent many hours with tech support before I returned it for an exchange on Jan, 5 2021. On Jan 18th the sound went out on this one. I called HP support once again and spent 2 hours on the phone with them. Sound finally came on again. But I do not know for how long I am expecting it to go out anytime. HP is my favorite computer but this is making me change my mind about HP computers.

I had to return it the next day because I was having sound issues. They gave me a replacement and I had the same sound issues with the second unit so I returned it and got the Dell All in One and never looked back .....Sorry HP - tried to patronize you but you let me down ... twice
