Our PC in our learning center broke down, and we required a replacement ASAP for tutoring purposes. This desktop, with 8GB memory/1TB HD, fit the bill perfectly. We have a low-intensity graphics need (no gaming) so the basic graphics card on this desktop is not an issue. Filled our requirements perfectly!

Great price for the contents! After loading the Win 10 update, no problems! Not for large Gamers put fine for home computing needs. Very quite, separate graphics card with decent speed! Worth the money! (just replace the McAfee it comes with)

My old computer crashed, and I needed a new one. I did a lot of research, and for the money, this HP is a sound machine. It is incredibly fast, loads games with ease, has more hard drive than I need, and the processor amazes me. We really did get a good deal for a low price.

Snappy, quiet, and cool, this AMD Ryzen 3 series desktop is great for office scenarios that don't require specialized graphics or crunch complicated calculations. I've replaced two Realtors' aging PCs with these, and they have been very happy.

After 10 years my old tower finally quit. This is a mid price range tower I picked because it's for personal use. It came loaded with all the features I regularly use for letters etc. I'm completely happy with my purchase!

I have had HP's since 2005 and have had PC's and Laptops. I keep coming back to them because I feel like I get the most for the money I spend. I really just need a PC to compute and be online. The one I just bought was on sale at a great price and the size of the hard drive 2TB along with ample memory made it another easy decision for me. I have been using this new PC for about a month and I was back to working within minutes. Almost like my other one hadn't died. The only snag I ran into is that I have a Dell copier that I can still use and is for volume copying. I do have a Brother small copier for ones and twos. The new HP PC does not have drivers for a 2005 copier but that's ok. I just hook the Dell to a laptop and I can still print. To me the HP with AMD is a great value.

I always buy HP products, have for years and this didn't disappoint. Runs quiet, no issues with anything so far. The only suggestion is not to use the one drive unless you plan on upgrading the size of it. Windows 10 defaults everything to be saved on the one drive and it filled up almost immediately. Disconnected the one drive, uninstalled and re-saved everything to the HDD. No reason to pay for storage when it comes with a 1Tb storage drive

    Defective Computer Tower

Defective HP Pavilion 590-p0024 Computer Tower On May 3, 2019, I purchased a new HP Pavilion 590-p0024 computer tower. On May 17, 2019, the computer tower would not turn on after pressing the power button. I had to repress the start button and then it came on. I called HP tech support and the tech person said that it was probably downloading updates. (It wasn’t updating anything.) He did nothing to help me. He told me to keep using the computer and if it happened again give them a call. On May 26, 2019, the problem happened again. I called HP support tech and after telling him what happened, the support tech said he made a notation of the problem and gave me a case number. He told me if it happen again to give them a call. This support tech wouldn’t help me. I called Best Buy where I had purchased the computer tower and explained what was happening with the tower and how I wasn’t being helped by HP support. I ask the manager if I could return the defective computer tower and replace it with a working tower. The Best Buy Manager told me that it was over 15 days from date of purchased and they wouldn’t help me. I couldn’t return it. I called the Geek Squad and they told me that if I wanted repairs, it would be sent to a place in Kentucky, but I would have to pay for shipping and some items might not be under warranty which it would cost me to get the tower repaired. Also, if the software was bad, I was told software that came with the computer was not under warranty. On June 20, 2019, my computer wouldn’t turn on again. I again pressed the start button to start it and it came on. Yet again I called HP support. I gave my case number to the tech and the support tech told me that there was no such case number and nothing was written about my computer problem. I told this tech about the problem that I was having over and over so he could write it up. Afterwards, he tried to give me a case number, but said he was unable to give me a case number. I asked why and he told me that his computer wouldn’t allow him to give me a case number and my computer problem couldn’t be written down. After I hang up the phone, I called another HP support tech and this time the support tech took down my problem and gave me a case number. He said that I would need to send my computer tower to a repair center in Texas. I research this repair center to see how reliable this place is. I found out that this repair center was not own by the Hewlett-Packard Computer Company. They contract repairs out to other people, other companies. Many reviews I read from employees and customers on this computer repair center in Texas were unfavorable. I decided that this would not be a good place to send my computer tower to get repaired. Why can’t Hewlett-Packard Computer Company have their own repair centers with reliable, highly trained computer repair technicians? Therefore, I will pay a reliable computer repair man that I have used before in the past years and pay out of my pocket to get repairs done on this new, defective computer tower. Today, July 6, 2019, while using my computer, the computer tower completely shut down and didn’t come back on. I had to restart the tower. The computer was not downloading updates. This computer HP Pavilion 590-p0024 is a lemon and is a problem. I will soon close my account with Best Buy and never do business with them due to them not standing behind their product. Also, I will never buy another HP computer. Both Best Buy and HP Company have lost a long time customer.
