It had been 9 years since I purchased my past desktop computer with Intel processor. After speaking and learning from the Best Buy Geek Squad experts, I made the decision to replace it. I was confident with my HP Pavilion Desktop AMD Ryzen 7 computer! I have no regrets and thank the Best Buy teams!

When a short power outage shut down our desk top computer we attempted to restart it using the white start button at the top of our HP Pavilion Desktop unit but there was no button to push. After an online discussion with a Tech from Geek Squad we were asked to bring the unit in so someone could look at it and see what was wrong. The button had been pushed in when the unit was originally installed and had failed to spring back up into position. The issue was quickly remedied. The Tech said it is a very thin button which only protrudes slightly above the face of the case, it can easily be pressed too firmly and dislodged. We all agreed a slightly larger button might avoid this problem. Since this happened to us on a day when access to the computer for bill paying was necessary the Tech scheduled a quick appointment and had the unit up and ready to run in no time. We really appreciate such prompt attention. Let's hope it does not become a habitual problem with this unit.

This item is superior. My lap top ran hotter than molten lava which eventually killed the battery -which is just what they do because they are so compact. I was skeptical about Windows 11 but it seems just fine. This computer is super fast with the Ryzen 7. And the TB SSD. I have this hooked up to my 65 inch 4k tv and this HP looks fantastic! It indeed handles 4k great! If possible use the AMD audio not the Realtek. The AMD does stidio quality 4 bit sound and will also do 7.1 Dolby atmos. I couldnt be more happy with the purchase!

It is FAST! It is so fast, you think it didn't do the function. The SSD is fast as well. No status light for Disk I/O, so sometimes I wonder about what is happening. The computer is real light. This becomes an issue pushing/pulling USB cords and memory sticks. The computer moves with ease. The computer meets my needs, and it was on sale!
