Compared to my previous custom built computer this is smaller, a lot faster, and quiet. The only thing I don’t like is that this doesn’t have a CD/DVD player so I’m using my old external player. I’m not a fan of anything wireless so I cannot write a review about the keyboard and mouse that came with the computer.

We've been upgrading our office workstations for a company of under 10 people with these units. The Ryzen 7 combined with the 1TB SSD gives a competent platform for the daily duties in the office at a comfortable price point. I have made the past mistake of trying to get away with $4-500 which tend to be under powered even for simple tasks while running our security camera software (web-based with the demands of bandwidth vs. video sharing with the RAM) but so far 16GB is holding up for daily tasks. I can always add an 8GB video card (<$100) if demand grows. But for now, it works well. The biggest bugaboo with most off-the-shelf brands is uninstalling all the promotional crapware/software BEFORE I put a) mostly an HP) box in service. Then you get to the Microsoft Account headache on everything but that's not HP's fault for that. Take your time and clean her up a bit and she'll run just great in your office.

I bought this as a replacement for an older HP. Performance is good. But I do miss the internal DVD drive, and the lack of a DisplayPort. I have to use the D15 VGA port for my second monitor, and there is a noticeable difference in the display. I do like having 4 USB-A and 1 USB-C ports in the front of the case. Still, it's a good value - performance and price.

The HP Pavilion Desktop with AMD Ryzen 7, 16GB Memory, and 1TB SSD in Natural Silver is a powerful and stylish computing solution. This desktop offers a winning combination of performance and aesthetics. Performance-wise, the AMD Ryzen 7 processor provides snappy responsiveness and handles multitasking with ease. With 16GB of memory, you'll have no trouble running multiple applications simultaneously, making it suitable for both work and entertainment. The inclusion of a 1TB SSD is a game-changer. It ensures speedy boot times and quick access to your files and applications. The ample storage space is perfect for storing your files, media, and games without worrying about running out of space. Design-wise, the Natural Silver finish adds a touch of elegance to any workspace. It's sleek and modern, blending seamlessly with various decors. One potential drawback is the lack of a dedicated graphics card, which may limit its performance for heavy gaming or graphics-intensive tasks. However, for everyday computing, office work, and media consumption, this desktop excels. Overall, the HP Pavilion Desktop with AMD Ryzen 7, 16GB Memory, and 1TB SSD is a solid choice for users seeking a reliable and stylish desktop computer with excellent everyday performance.

This PC offers solid performance and reliability, making it a dependable choice for everyday computing tasks and light gaming. Its sleek design adds a touch of elegance to any workspace, while the ample storage and memory ensure smooth multitasking. However, it falls just short of a perfect rating due to occasional software glitches and a lack of advanced features found in higher-end models.

This desktop is working well for me so far. It has some speed, and lots of ports. It lacks a CD / DVD drive, but these days everything is modular. Windows 11 took some getting used to. Out of the box it decided to move all my stuff to the cloud. I did not want this! I uninstalled the one drive app altogether to fix this. I don't want it back! I do not like Microsoft making such decisions about my data!

I am using this for basic work purposes, and am still setting it up. The display is clean and operations are fast and quiet. It's also smaller and quite a bit lighter than my old tower. it doesn't have the cd drives, and it has ssd instead of sata. much, much nicer. now i just have to adjust to windows 11...

This HP Pavilion AMD Ryzen 7 is much better than I expected. It’s very quick and very quiet. My previous desktop was from the Windows 8 days but accepted Windows 10 without complaint. However, it was getting tired and was severely out of date hardware (and software) wise. Then came Windows 11 which I knew my previous unit would not run. There is too much to say here. But, this unit solved the problem on all fronts.

I picked this up as an open box so I saved some money. I upgraded the RAM because I converted it to a game server. The 1 TB nvme drive is amazing. I've got a few games running on it. The games load fast and I haven't run into any performance issues. I also swapped out Windows for Linux without issue.

Not much to say, really: this is a Ryzen 7 with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, so (by 2023 standards, anyway - if you're reading this in the future, don't laugh at us) it's a decently fast machine for business purposes. Not a gaming powerhouse, but definitely more than enough for most office uses. I bought this for a client whose previous computer died (the CPU overheated, and was left running over a long weekend; by the time I saw it, it was toast) but whose hard disk drive was still OK. I set up the new PC; getting Windows and Office up and running took no time at all. I plugged the old hard drive into one of the new machine's USB 3 ports (via my handy Thermaltake adapter) and transferred her files and settings; that took about half an hour. Getting all of her non-Microsoft stuff set up the way she likes it took the longest, but throughout the whole process I had no complaints at all about speed. She's been using the new machine for a few weeks and is very happy. Recommended.

This computer is a great one. I'm replacing a older one by HP Ryzen 5. I have to say the desktop is beautiful and now works prefect. BIG PROBLEM ....There was an issue with windows 11. I'm not a tec person and it took a few times for the Geek Squad to fix. Spooler (for printer) kept shutting down which was annoying. If you have that problem "It is a corrupt windows 11". It needs to be un installed and reinstalled. Alec figured out issue but when taking back to store to have them fix it, they (at store) did not do a un and reinstall as was said in notes. NOT HAPPY. Brock came out following Tuesday and saw that was not done as requested. He spent way more than the allotted time here to fix my issue. I can say way more but this review is about desktop and other stuff.

So far, this has been the best computer I've owned. It was easy to setup and use. It's my 1st Windows 11. So far, I like it. It also has lots of room inside for expansion. It has room for another hard drive, a CD/DVD drive, memory and another video card.

The HP Pavilion desk we bought has been an excellent upgrade from our old HP. It was a great Black Friday price and has enhanced our capabilities significantly. The AMD7processor and increased memory/storage meets our needs nicely. We are very satisfied.

For what I need I give it 5 stars. Replaced an old Sluggish 7 year old Dell Inspiron. Husband kept telling me I needed a SSD in my PC and I had researched in the past and it was too expesnive. Then I saw this deal on sale for $659 and asked my husband if it was a good deal and he said yes and looked up all the specs and bought us each one. He had an old 7 or 8 year old pc also. So far it's fast and for just doing email web surfing and watching videos it's great! I already had a nice 27 inch HP monitor that I love. So now I am good to go! We don't game so this is all we need. I didn't care about no CD drive hubby kind of wanted one. But so far so good but it's only been like 2 or 3 weeks. We had windows 10 so 11 wasn't too much different but I like it. I like the start menu and having shortcuts there and not covering up the whole desktop.

HP desktop computer was only set up a week ago. To date, we are very pleased with the system. I purchased the HP desktop to replace a previous HP desktop that was 5-6 years old and running very slow. This system is very quick and responsive. It is windows 11, and though I was concerned that we would have trouble using it, so far, we have had few issues. I had the Geek Squad set it up, and the technician was excellent.

Great price, easy setup. Decent power for the price. No CD drive, which I knew, but still feels odd.
