Sleep mode issues

My New Toy

Constant Crashes, unusable.

Started crashing (I think this was a Windows 11 issue perhaps not a hardware issue). After all the updates, got stuck on the "HP" startup logo. Waited 30 minutes and had to power off. Then after several reboots finally got a windows screen that crashed. Did a boot into the Recovery Mode. After more than an hour it said It couldn't be repaired (no details). Finally, did a full factory reset and same issue. Returned after one day. Perhaps I just got a faulty one, but perhaps not.

Transferred files from old unit and suddenly wouldn’t recognize HD. Took it in and was told the SSD was loose and should work Got it back home and same issue. Now I am told bad motherboard. This was supposedly in excellent condition??? Only option I was given was to buy a new unit, other open boxes available in other locations, but had to pay for shipping and excellent condition open box units were $100 -150 more. Terrible customer service.

Not a good computer
