Piece of crap, HP use to make good computer but this one was a failure, the power supply was very small and no upgrade options, looks like you can upgrade but really is only a big box. The computer shutdowns sometimes and not power up, I found you need to open it and take out the cmos battery and the power on, is a really pain to do this but is the only way I get the computer working, HP do not provide any warranty and the same BestBuy unless you buy it.

I got it on sale for $555 out the door. It had a little too much crapware from HP, so I installed a fresh copy of windows and updated with the latest drivers from HP and Intel. Bios also had a very recent update which I installed. This is not a power house PC, but it runs very well for the average user. The 128GB solid state drive could have been a little larger for today's needs for larger applications running along side the OS, but since this wasn't for me and was for a very light user, it was a great option. The additional 1TB hard drive was a great way to make sure backups were happening frequently rather than not at all. 12GB of memory may not be running in dual channel, but it's a good amount for a light user and will not need upgrading anytime soon. Can't complain about the speed and efficiency of the i5 8400 six core processor it came with either. Powering on from power off state took me to the logged in desktop, ready to go, in 30 seconds. The built in graphics are weak, and the power supply is even weaker. If you decide to upgrade the power supply, be aware it's not a full ATX size, so it's a little inconvenient if you plan to put in a larger graphics card that needs more juice. That's the only reason for a 4 star rating over a 5. I'm rating this on what I got for the price I paid. I'd recommend this PC to light or average users if it's on sale. Currently it's sitting at $719 on bestbuy.com, which is more than I'd be willing to spend.

We've had this desktop for two years now. We returned the first one as power button did not work and got a replacement. The 2nd one has had its issues including the power button (does not work consistently), waking up from sleep, search does not work on administrator's account but does on guest account, unable to remove apps that we added, etc. When everything works, it's great but I wish we had returned for another brand/model.

1 WOULD ADVISE NO ONE TO PURCHASE THIS COMPUTER. After owning computer for less than 1 month drive is already not working. CD drive is very flimsy and if I turn it off, it takes forever to come back on.

Worst computer I have ever owned! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Bought this computer to replace my old computer that I have had since 2006... yes 13 year old computer... it was still working great but the newer programs were running a bit sluggish on it since it was older technology. Anyway, I decided to buy this computer to replace that outer computer. Another reason I got this computer is to backup my iPhone since I have a ton of GB’s of pictures and videos... I noticed the 1TB HD and thought it was a great deal! NO!!! It has 1TB if memory on the D drive which is practically untouchable.... the C drive is where everything gets stored and saved, including the iPhone backup... well the OS and basic programs used to run windows take about 60GB of the 100GB... so you only have about 40GB... immediately the memory filled up with my iPhone and the backup failed. I tried a partition and it didn’t work, tried to create a link via command prompt to save the backup in a different drive but that didn’t work either... now I’m passed the 30 day return period and I’m stuck with this piece of crap computer... I contacted HP and they wanted to charge me $300 for some Tier 3 support or some crap like that... anyway, this worthless computer sits in the box in my garage and I’m still using my old 13 year old computer. DO NOT BUY THIS! I should have read other negative reviews on it and skipped it.
