It is a good laptop for under 400 so I would recommend it.

I was very hesitant on this laptop but seeing it was really cheap I went for it... and I LOVE IT!!! touch screen is amazing and the speed is pretty great. It's def worth the money if you need a laptop for school!

Love that I can flip it so I can use it on my lap it makes it not so tippy , that was a problem l had with a regular laptop. Touch screen works great . Very user friendly

I have not been able to spend a whole lot of time with this product yet because it's been such a busy season, but what I have done so far has been good. Product is lightweight and easy to transport. It's mostly for word processing and that's working fine. Good value for price.

Functionality of this computer is very good. The only thing that was a put-off is the amount of time it takes to update all of the programming once you turn it on. Additionally, Internet Explorer keeps freezing up. Finally traced this to McAfee interfering with it. Quick work-around was to put FireFox on the computer. Helped but still not 100%. Uninstalled McAfee and let Windows Defender do the job and problems were solved.

I'm not very computer savvy and found myself lost and making several mistakes. I took the computer to the Geek squad and the associate was able to correct most of my self inflicted problems. Still don't get windows 8 but trying. I thought it would be easier and ready right out of the box. Have someone nearby that knows computers if you're like me.

My review is that is efficient and complete because it has Window 8.1. It has features that other laptops do not have for example the lighted turn on and off button on the side. Also it has features of short cuts to get to the apps. My only concerned was the mouse pad was not working properly. I do recommended for the public otherwise.

Has taken a while to get the hang of the new Windows but touch screen is easier than the mouse

I use this computer with a mobile printer for my hotshot business. Very compact and reliable

For the price this was a very good purchase for me since I mainly bought it for my nephew.

This is an OK laptop and it is nice that it has a touch screen. But it is solidly in the Microsoft tradition and so is incredibly slow (compared to a chromebook), especially with the unending updates. Opening screens are slanted to Microsoft products, but can be modified

Touch screen option is a plus since the mouse key pad can be difficult to use at times.

An easy to use, was a little difficult at first to use. Got used to it and now its fun.

This is my first own labtop and I love it! Good camera the music sounds great everything is awesome! I love watching netflix and the fact that I can switch the position my labtop different ways is awesome

This was a great buy and I have no regrets. The touch screen makes it so easy to use.

Purchased 2 because of the price for my boys. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the size and weight of the laptops. I would recommend this HP to anyone needing a lightweight laptop for a secondary laptop or anyone with a middle/high school student.

For just a general little laptop this does the trick...you can check email and do social networking very easily with this . Is it lightning fast...no but it is reasonably responsive...at least for me it is . I do photography with it believe it or not...post process...but to do that I hook up the laptop to a different screen...I got this when it went on sale for 249 dollars...very happy with it
