I grabbed two of these, one for my son at college and one for myself. Good versatility, does many things well. I like the variety of ports, especially the card reader. Runs Lightroom reasonably well, and having an SD reader makes it much more convenient for on the go photo editing. Battery life is somewhat disappointing, but acceptable all things considered.

Great price for this laptop. But it's a little slow. Watch espn online but got froze a few time in 45 min.

We purchased HP for our children to use for school. We have been very pleased w/ the quality of the product. Our oldest child likes the keyboard while our youngest prefers the touchscreen. While I think this is a fantastic value for the price, I wish the machine had a solid state drive in lieu of the hard drive.

It is a little bit slow, but it was very chip and I wasn't expecting perfection. It works well, and I really like the touchscreen technology

Bought 2, one for myself the other as a gift. Had to send one back to HP for repair. They are very slow and have a very short battery life

Laptop is excellent size for easy portability. Good processing speed for Office products and basic statistical packages. Easy to use.

I first bought a laptop that turned into a tablet. Once I got it home and started using it, I hated it. I could not get it to link to my wireless printer and I could not get it to print when I plugged the usb on the printer into the laptop. So I called the store to make sure I could bring it back. When I took it back, I ended up dealing with the same sales rep as I had when I bought the first laptop. He told me that all the systems were going to be the same if I got another laptop. I told him the printer wouldn't link up and that the computer kept telling me I could only "print in the app." He said well if you have a printer that you bought before this system came out then it may not want to link up. He told me their geek squad could help, but I would have to purchase it. He told me yes I would have to be in app to print. I told him I needed a cd drive and didn't notice the first laptop didn't have it. He told me that they are doing away with those. He made me feel really stupid. Guess what?! I got the 2nd laptop home and linked it up to my wireless printer with no problems. I also found out that the previous laptop was telling me the wrong thing and the sales rep was wrong about printing "in the app." You actually have to be on the desktop to print. However, the 2nd laptop I got is great. Oh, also, the sales rep told me that only the cheaper laptops have the cd drive. News flash dude!!! The first laptop that I got was only $20 more than the one I ended up with. I will not deal with that guy again ever. No commission for you sir off of me.

This laptop touch is so easy to use. Navigation is simple!

I purchased this laptop and was excited to get it home and going. I spent days transferring info, bookmarks, music, etc from my old laptop to this and about three weeks into the process the computer failed. I called the Best Buy Support line and was referred to the Geek Squad Support. The gentleman worked on my computer remotely for over an hour and could not get it to start working again. He concluded that there was some failure of the software and I would have to go to a store and have the thing wiped and all the software reloaded. In effect, put it back to as it was when I purchased it. So I lost all my personalized info - three weeks of work! In addition, the Geek Squad Support in the store informed me that the computer only had a 15 day return window, after which I could not return the computer for anything other than breakage. Software apparently is not warranted. The gentleman at the store was generous enough to do the wipe and reload for free but advised that technically it should be charged for, $90+. I still don't know if it was the new Windows 8 that corrupted or what but am very afraid it will happen again. I am not impressed with Best Buy policies and will make future purchases from other vendors.

The price of this laptop was better than average. It functions well so far and works well as a 2 for 1 model. For the price, it works as well as any other type of computer.

Bought this laptop to bring with me to school and work, and it's been great! It is lightweight, the perfect size, and holds up great. The touchscreen is very sensitive and easy to use, and the computer is very easy to roatate and convert between the laptop and tablet.

Perfect for a 1 first year college student. Light weight. Battery life has been good so far. My student loves the ability to use it as a laptop as well as a tablet. The only issue I have with this device is the choice to use a slow hard drive. With the cost and performance of drives today, HP could of used a better performing disk. The initial boot is a little slow as well as opening application the first time, but once the application is cached, performance is very usable. So far this seems like a very good purchase.

The WiFi stinks, won't connect to a lot of hotspots. Many reviews and complaints about that on line but its to late for me now. I'll get a usb WiFi nic and keep it moving.

I think it is a great computer and has been great taking it in the vehicle while traveling. Does everything I want it to do

I love the touch screen and the flip mode. Wish the turn on button on the side of the computer was easier to find to push in.

This touch screen laptop has been the perfect computer for me! I use it for web browsing, email and have streamed videos and run several apps on it. It has the ideal screen size, foot print and leaves me with more room on my work desk. Have had no problems and enjoyed the experience with Windows 8. Highly recommend this product!

It's ea to used my daughter she's 8 years old and already can use it by her self I use the parental control for the Internet
